10 directors, 10 heroes & 10 locations: Tulu film to be shot in 17 hours for Guinness records

Manglauru, Jun 23: With a galaxy of directors and protagonists, a Tulu film will be shot in 17 hours to make it to the Guinness records.

Kadandale Suresh Bhandary of Nageshwara Cine Combines, who is producing the film, told media persons here on Saturday that it would be directed by 10 directors at a time. It would have 10 heroes and would be shot in 10 locations.

Tamil actor Rajasimha would play the role of villain. The intention of bringing a Tamil actor is to draw the attention of Tamil film industry and audience to Tulu films. It would widen the horizon of the Tulu movie industry, Mr. Bhandary said.

He also said that almost all noted Tulu film and theatre actors would act in the movie.

He said that the film will be shot in September, 2018. Refusing to divulge more information, he said the title would be revealed in due course of time.

Sourabh Bhandary, Tulu actor, said that a Kannada film ‘Sugreeva’ had been shot in 18 hours and a Tulu film ‘September 8’ had been shot in 24 hours.

I am 100% sure, the story, the acting and overall, the film will be as shitty as the 1000 other Tulu films that are coming nowadays.

Udupi, Aug 6: Three people including police personnel entered a well and rescued an elderly woman who had accidentally fallen into Udupi on Thursday.

A police sub-inspector and two others got down into a well and rescued the elderly woman, who accidentally fell into well at near her home at Kukkikatte.

The locals immediately alerted to police and fire and rescue personal.

Udupi town police sub-inspector Sadashiva Govroji, fire and rescue staff Vinayaka and a local Auto-driver Rajesh Nayak got into the well and brought the woman out safely.

New Delhi, Feb 26: The death toll in northeast Delhi communal violence over the amended citizenship law rose to 20 on Wednesday, according to GTB Hospital authorities.

On Tuesday, the death toll was 13.

"The death toll has risen to 20 today," Medical Superintendent of GTB Hospital, Sunil Kumar, told PTI.

Earlier, at least four bodies were brought to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital from the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital, a senior official said.

Kundapur, Apr 28: The local police have arrested two people for threatening and preventing an Associated Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers from discharging their duties during the lockdown.

Police said on Tuesday that the arrested are Sandeep Mesta and Mahesh Kharvi.

According to official sources, the health officials had put Sandeep under quarantine for 28 days.

However, he was seen wandering in the streets and ASHA worker C Laxmi warned him to stay indoors.

Irked by the warning Sandeep, along with his friend Mahesh Kharvi waylaid her and threatened to kill for objecting his movement.
