Aamir Khan’s PK Geared Up To Be The Biggest Release In India

Aamir Khans PKMumbai, Dec 16: Aamir Khan starrer PK will be releasing in approximately 5000 screens in India and 820 screens overseas.

The film marks the return of the hit jodi of Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani after 5 years. Their last release, 3 Idiots, ran on screens for more than 4 weeks and went on to break all opening box office records in India.

Having no other big film lined up in December , PK will get a good number of screens and the makers are hoping to touch the golden box office figures.

Each and every multiplex owner wants to cash on this film. Exhibitors and trade journalists are betting high on the film.

PK is all set to be one of the biggest release in India.

The poster created a lot of buzz and took the film’s promotional campaign to another level.

There has been a lot of curiosity around the story of the film which Rajkumar Hirani is very keen to keep under wraps because he wants the audience to enjoy a complete viewing experience.

The ace director startled everyone with the vision and portrayal of the character of P.K.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani, PK starsAamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing pivotal roles. The movie is slated to release on December 19, 2014.

New Delhi, Jun 18: Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Thursday paid tribute to the Indian soldiers who were killed in clashes with Chinese troops in Ladakh's Galwan valley.

The 'Fashion' actor who is currently living in America with her singer husband Nick Jonas took to Twitter to extend support to the families of the fallen soldiers.

"My heart goes out to the soldiers and their families. May God give them the strength to cope with this irreparable loss," she tweeted.

Twenty Indian soldiers were killed in a violent face-off with Chinese troops on Monday at Galwan Valley in Ladakh.

Mumbai, Jul 11: Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan announced on Twitter late on Saturday that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection.

Taking to Twitter to announce the news, he said, "I have tested CoVID positive... " He added that family and staff had also undergone tests while Bachchan has been shifted to a hospital. 

Bachchan ended his tweet saying, "All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !"

Bachchan, who was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo that released on OTT platforms, will be seen in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Bhrahmastra.

Mumbai, Jun 4: Casting director Krish Kapur, who had worked on films like Mahesh Bhatt's Jalebi and Kriti Kharbanda-starrer Veere Ki Wedding, passed away at the age of 28 due to brain hemorrhage, his family said.

There was speculation that Kapur died in a road accident but his maternal uncle, Sunil Bhalla, dismissed the reports, saying that the casting director fainted at his home in suburban Mira Road here and suffered brain hemorrhage.

According to Bhalla, Kapur breathed his last on May 31.

"He had no medical history. He was healthy and doing absolutely fine. On May 31, he just collapsed and started to bleed. He died of brain hemorrhage," Bhalla said on Wednesday.

Kapur is survived by his mother, wife and seven-year-old child.
