Abu Dhabi: Emirates India Fraternity Forum-Abu Dhabi sector organized a program for expatriate Indians on life and message of Prophet Muhammad at Air Lines Restaurant Hall, Abu Dhabi on January, 9, 2015.

The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Rasheed Bejai. The Program was graced by the presence of Mr. Siddik Mulki, Mr. Majeed Aladka, President of EIFF Abu Dhabi Sector, Mr. AdilShamshuddin, Trade Unit Head, Hilal Bank and Mr. Iqbal Pandeshwara.

Mr. Majeed Aladka, in his welcome address gave a short presentation about the Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) and its recent activities such as Blood Donation, Free Medical checkup camp, dispatch of Dead bodies to India, Sports meets etc. He explained about the assistance to the needy in job search, legal assistance. He also touched upon about the importance of this holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal and also various social schemes conducted by EIFF.

Mr. SiddikMulki, in his key address on ‘“guidelines from life of Prophet (PBUH) in present situation” stressed importance of the Teachings and Life style of Prophet Mohammad (SWAS). He narrated that before the birth of the Holy Prophet Sall-Allahualayhiwasallam, not only the Arabian peninsula, but also the so-called civilized nations were drowned in the darkness of ignorance, superstitions, oppression and unrest. The Holy Prophet, Sall-Allahualayhiwasallam, came with the eternal truth of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah), the only faith which provides a firm basis for the real concepts of knowledge, equity and peace. It was this faith which delivered humanity from ignorance and superstitions and spread the light of true knowledge all over the world. He is a role model from all aspect for all mankind and his entire life should followed by all Muslims.

He mentioned several instances quoted in Holy Quran and Authentic Adhiths and from the life of the Prophet in which the latter demonstrated immense kindness, forgiveness and restraint while dealing with companions and fellow beings.

The recent incidents in India are mainly because we have forgotten the teaching of our prophet Mohammad (SWAS) and left behind his life style. The whole world is celebrating and conducting programs about Prophet Mohammad (SWAS) in the month of Rabi’ul-Awwal but our mission should not limit to only one month but it should continue throughout our life time.

The disciplined program was convened by Mr. Ashraf Machar.Mr.Iqbal Pandeshwarconducted vote of thanks program and conveyed gratitude to the main sponsors of this function such as Capital Office Supplies Abu Dhabi, Super Supplies, Mussafah and Sharif Madikeri on behalf of Organizer. Huge number of expatriates participated during the occasion. The Executive Members of EIFF, Abu Dhabi and disciplined volunteers helped to make the event a grand success. Dubai, Aug 7: ‘Nama Tuluve’ Purushotham Salian, a staunch stalwart who always supported humanity and a strong pillar for Tuluvas in Dubai, passed away August, 4 at Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain. He was suffering from cancer and was admitted to Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain some time ago. He was on the last stage of illness which was not detected earlier.

His funeral last rites were conducted on Thursday August 7 at Jebel Ali cemetery in Hindu rites with a few of his family members present. Due to Covid pandemic, neither his body was able to be flown back to hometown nor could his two children come down to attend the funeral. However, it was said that his wish was to be cremated here in Dubai which unknowingly sometime back he whispered to one of his friends.

Purushotham had few years ago, survived a heart attack and fought back his life, though it had a minor paralytic effect on him. Even though, till recently he used to do his day-to-day work normally. He was a hard working personality and owned a readymade garment shop in Ajman and Dubai mostly taking care of clients with requirement of uniforms and coveralls. His dedication towards work was always appreciated by his clients who used to get their things delivered on time always.

He was never a publicity person and was helping the poor and needy in whatever ways he could silently. He strongly supported the community and was associated with Nama Tuluveru and Billawa community with commitment. He used to voluntarily come forward for the ground work of various functions of the community and used to be there until it was done perfectly.
