After Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, Rishi Kapoor gets trolled on Twitter!

Mumbai, Sep 14: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor faced backlash by some Twitter user after he tweeted that religious beliefs should be confined within four walls and not imposed through any bans.

rishiCommenting on various bans, including meat and beef ban, the 63-year-old actor had earlier tweeted, “My take on bans! Practice your religion within the four walls of your house. Stop imposing your beliefs and wants on others. Live and let live.” The tweet invited wrath of many Twitter trolls.

The actor, however, took their case by reposting their comments on his page before finally commenting, “What I do, eat, drink or pray is none of your business.” He also wrote that he was a “proud” Hindu but someone who also respects other faiths. ”There’s a perception that I am anti Hindu. Sad. I am a ‘Proud’ two time a day praying Hindu. But I respect other faiths too. I just say the truth!”

Earlier actresses Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Sunny Leone put up a united front against Twitter trolls, who mocked female celebrities for their views on socio-political issues.

Mumbai, Jan 10: Superstar Salman Khan on Friday announced that his Eid 2021 release will be titled "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali".

The 54-year-old actor took to Twitter to announce the movie which will be written and produced by filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala.

"Housefull 4" helmer Farhad Samjhi will be directing the film.

"Announcing my next film... 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'. Story and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Directed by Farhad Samji. Eid 2021," Salman tweeted.

The actor, whose last release "Dabangg 3" performed moderately at the box office, will next be seen in Prabhudheva's "Radhe". The film will hit the theatres on Eid this year.

Mumbai, Apr 14: Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has thanked Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for providing 25,000 personal protective equipment for health workers.

Khan on Monday provided the personal protective equipment (PPE) kits to the frontline medical staff in Maharashtra fighting to contain the novel coronavirus pandemic in the state.

Tope took to Twitter to thank the actor for the help.

Many thanks Mr. Shah Rukh Khan for your kind contribution of 25,000 PPE kits. This will go a long way in supporting our fight against COVID19 & protecting our frontline medical care team @iamsrk @MeerFoundation @CMOMaharashtra," he tweeted.

The actor and his wife Gauri Khan recently offered their four-storey personal office space for treating COVID-19 patients.

Khan had earlier announced various initiatives to help the country during the crisis.

Mumbai, Jul 12: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed actor Rekha’s bungalow in suburban Bandra after a security guard there tested positive for coronavirus, a civic official said on Sunday.

The guard at the 65-year-old actor’s bungalow ‘Sea Springs’ tested positive on Tuesday, the official said.

The BMC has put a board outside the premises declaring the are as a containment zone. The security guard has been hospitalised at the BMC’s COVID-19 care facility in Bandra Kurla Complex, he said.

As the bungalow is a standalone one, only a portion of it has been sealed, he said.
