Aiming to win 22 LS seats, BJP launches 'Mera Parivar BJP Parivar' in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Feb 12: Bharatiya Janata Party today launched its 'Mera Parivar BJP Parivar' Abhiyan in Karnataka and Opposition leader in the Legislative Assembly B S Yeddyurappa, who is also BJP State President, kick started the Abhiyan by sticking BJP flag on his Dollars Colony Residence.

Speaking to newsmen after the launch, Mr Yeddyurappa said that "we have to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by winning a minimum of 22 seats of the total 28 in the coming Lok Sabha election. We should work hard to see that Mr Modi continues as Prime Minister even after General Elections."

Mysuru, May 30: District in-charge Minister S T Somashekar on Saturday said that the Mysuru zoo is likely to reopen in June first week and all preparations are being made with precautionary measures.

While talking to media here, he said the initiative has taken considering the well being of animals and keeping in mind to support the tourism sector. "We have already collected the opinions of public representatives of the district. District administration is all prepared to reopen the zoo and waiting for permission from the forest minister and the government," he said.

He also said that he is not aware of the reopening the Mysuru palace for tourists. Chamundeswhari temple atop of Chamundi hils will be open based on the guidelines of the central government. The government taking measures to reopen tourist spots and central government will release the guidelines in the next two days, he added.

Mangaluru, Mar 30: Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences, Natekal, has started online tele-consultation service in the constituent Kanachur Hospital & Research Centre amid fear of corona spread.
 
A statement issued here on Monday said, under this service people can contact the doctors sitting in their home. The doctors will give tele-consultation and medical advice for their health problems through WhatsApp. As per the Kanachur Hospital announcement for this purpose the specialist doctors of nine departments will give their tele-consultation from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs.
 
The people who are not having the social media service (WhatsApp) from rural areas they can directly contact the concerned department specialists over phone by informing the disease details and obtain advises from the doctors through the hospital landline number 0824-2888000.

Bengaluru, Mar 18: Two more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Karnataka, taking the tally of infected persons in the state to 13, Health Minister B Sriramulu said on Wednesday.

A 56-year-old man, a resident of Bengaluru had returned to India from the US on March 6 while the second person is a 25-yr-old woman with a travel history to Spain.

"2 more COVID-19 cases have been registered in Bengaluru today, taking the total infected cases to 13. 56-year-old male, resident of Bengaluru returned from the USA on 6th March. Another 25-yr-old female has returned from Spain," Sriramulu said in a post on his Twitter account.

A total of 147 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in India so far, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Wednesday.
