Al Khalidiya Group hosts 8th iftar meet in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Al Khalidiya Group organized Iftar meet for its staff and business associates at Al Bustan Novotel on 30th May, 2019.  It was the 8th Iftar meet hosted by Al Khalidiya Group and this year it is marked for the ‘Year of Tolerence’ of UAE.

There were good number of customers, business associates, well-wishers as well as staff who attended the Iftar meet.

Finance Manager Arun Lasrado welcomed the gathering and Managing Director Benedict Pinto expressed his gratitude to his staff for their hard work and dedication.  After the prayers Iftar was served and it was a blessed one.

Al Khalidiya Group established in 2005 is a fast growing industry and now a leading company based in Abu Dhabi.  It has now expanded business with various branches some of them to name are New Al Khalidiya Aluminium& Glass Co LLC, New Al Khalidiya Glass Factory, Khalidiya Car Services, Tower Technical Aluminium& Glass Est & Gulf Car Service Station.  

It has very many multinational professional and dedicated staff serving to customers and are specialized in aluminum doors, windows, framing system, curtain walls, composite cladding, kitchen cabinet, stainless steel & metal decoration works, handrails, gates, boundary walls, partition glazing, automatic doors, frameless doors, gate processing, auto wash etc.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.

Dr Soofi Anwar, Director Academics of University of Stirling RAK, UAE Campus, has achieved the prestigious professional recognition of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) UK. He has achieved this milestone through the Stirling Framework for Evidencing Learning and Teaching Enhancement (SFELTE), the Continuing Professional Development Framework (CPD) for learning and teaching at University of Stirling, Scotland, UK. 

He was recognized for this achievement on recently concluded virtual Learning & Teaching Conference-2020 organized by University of Stirling Campus in UK.  He has secured his Ph.D. in Management from University of Azteca, Mexico.

Dr. Soofi Anwar has over 20 years of experience in teaching and academic leadership at higher education level and has worked in leading universities in UAE, Bahrain and India. He was conferred the prestigious Middle East Education Leadership Award, as the Best Professor in Management-2018 in recognition of his academic excellence, exemplary leadership in higher education. Prior to his current role, he has worked on leadership position in Birla Institute of Technology Offshore Campus RAK.

He has completed his MBA from Dept. of Business Administration, Mangalore University in 1999 and his B. Com degree from Canara College Mangaluru.

He has published numerous research papers in management and in the area of teaching and learning in higher education in reputed academic journals and international conferences proceedings. He is a member of editorial board of two leading management journals and engaged in reviewing faculty research publications in the area of management and marketing. 

He is a son of Haji Abdul Khadar Kodijal and Mrs. Mariyamma from Konaje, Mangaluru.
