Mangaluru, Oct 3: BJP national president Amit Shah's scheduled programmes in the coastal city has been postponed indefinitely due to “unavoidable circumstances.”
Shah supposed to meet opinion makers and intellectuals on Wednesday in Mangaluru. The district unit of the BJP had also scheduled a meeting of Shah with BJP state leaders on the same day.
BJP DK district president Sanjeeva Matandoor said: "All the programmes have been postponed since Shah had to return to Delhi for an emergency work."
Shah, who arrived at Mangaluru International Airport 1.15am on Tuesday, kicked off the Jana Raksha rally at Payyanur in Kannur district of Kerala. He returned to New Delhi via Mangaluru airport at 10pm.
