Bengaluru, Aug 14: BJP supremo Amit Shah has urged the youth wing of the saffron party’s Karnataka unit to be aggressive in targeting ruling Congress in the state.

“How many times have you faced lathi charge or escaped tear gas shells? How many times have you tried to gherao the chief minister? List out the agitations against the Congress government during the last four years,” asked Shah to the BJP Yuva Morcha leaders.

Shah apparently expressed his disappointment that the Yuva Morcha had not shown any zeal to take on the Congress government in the last four years.

Shah is said to have almost lost his cool, when BJP Yuva Morcha state president Prathap Simha said the youth wing had been holding meetings on a regular basis. “What is the use of holding meetings, when there is no outcome?” Shah is understood to have asked. “You are an MP, right? You could have done more,” Shah reportedly said.
