Bengaluru, Sept 19: Anganawadi workers will hold demonstrations in front of the deputy commissioners’ offices in all districts in the state on September 22, against increased work pressure on them because of the Mathrpoorna scheme.
B Nagarathnamma , secretary of Karnataka State Anganwadi Workers’ Association, said it is difficult for them to reach the true beneficiaries of the scheme. The scheme provides for supply of food to pregnant and lactating women.

Either govt should recruit more teachers/leave the scheme or hike their salary
My aunty working as anganavadi teacher. personally i know how difficult it is
People may think in rural area, anganavady worker are less educated and anyone can work. but they are doing great job. should leave the scheme which gives extra work
Govt should consider them as human beings. They are working like anything and they get paid very less
They deserve more salary.
