Anwar Sadath gets grand reception from India Cultural Society

Abu Dhabi, Mar 20: India Cultural Society UAE, has organized grand reception at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah to Anwar Sadath, Working Committee Member Karnataka State SDPI who was on a short visit to UAE.

At Abu Dhabi reception was held  at Abu Dhabi Airlines Restaurant which was presided by Mohammed Shareif Executive Member ICS. In his welcome address he highlighted the activities done by ICS in UAE. On this occasion the Chief Guest Mohammed Ali Uchila, President BWF who expressed that the need of the hour is the empowerment of Muslims and proper use of their voting rights.

At Dubai reception was held on 06.03.2014 at Melody Queen Restaurant Dubai which was presided by Ibrahim Karnad Executive Member ICS. In his welcome address while welcoming the gatherings he highlighted the future plans of ICS. The Chief guest Janab Mohammed Shafee, Businessman Dubai, while addressing the audience, requested to give helping hand in strengthening the SDPI as a strong political party in India.

At Sharjah reception was held on 07.03.2014 at Udupi Restaurant auditorium which was presided by Janab Ibrahim Karnad. The Chief Guest Janab Tanveer Ahammed, on the occasion has appealed for the Unity of Muslims and to build a strong Community with a main purpose of serving the society.

Anwar Sadath Working Committee Member of Karnataka State Social Democratic Party of India, in his address, appealed Indians to fight against the fascist forces, and for the unity of Minorities, SC, ST and other backward classes which constitute more than 50 % of the population who can fight the election jointly and can come to power even at Centre. Though Muslims are more than 40% of Populations in 123 parliamentary constituency, their strength in parliament is very narrow.   From the day of Independence till the time of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, more than 73 Commissions was formulated in India to study on issues of minorities, the government in the center have not presented any of the report in the Parliament.

Even the recommendation of the  Rajendra Singh Sachar committee  report nor Ranganath Mishra  Committee report and its recommendation for uplift of the minorities specially Muslims was not presented in the Parliament mainly due to lack of Muslims representation in the Parliament,  who can bargain for implementations of these commission’s recommendations. He appealed the brothers to come under one platform under the banner of SDPI to fight against the Monopolist, fundamentalists, and fascist forces and to eradicate the corruption in the society.

He narrated the Quran Ayath and Hadees, how Prophet Mohammed S.A. and his companions were contributed for the unity in the society and to bring the social justice in the society.  The Presidents, General Secretaries, and Office bearers of most of the Organizations were present on this occasion, have expressed their helping hand in achieving the goal, and gave Sadath a round of applause. Function was concluded by Vote of thanks and was well managed by ISC volunteers.

Dubai: Karnataka Sports & Cultural Club (KSCC) distributed Eid Kit across the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah to the ) needy people on Eid al Fitr.

KSCC President Mr. Mohammed Ismail Said: “Eid is a Symbol of Gratitude and Unity. As the last few weeks have been hard for each one of us, we wanted to stand in solidarity to celebrate Eid, by helping labours and needy people. He also said that “We are together to be part of UAE. Serving these meals is our core social responsibility."

KSCC recently conducted humanitarian services during COVID-19 pandemic in 2 phases and conducted Blood Donation Drive. They have also planned to conduct next Blood Donation Drive on 25th May, 2020.

The KSCC main objective is to develop the expatriate community into a well-nourished section of society in the areas of social, sports and cultural activities.

Dammam: President of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Mr.Wasim Rabbani urged immediate intervention of Indian government to help Non Residential Indians who are in trouble due to corona pandemic in Saudi Arabia.

He said in a press rease that expatriate Indians are in concern  as number of corona infected people and  deaths are increasing in danger level.

Hea said, "the Saudi health minister's statement a few days ago indicates that the situation in Saudi needs to be taken more seriously with precautionary methods. There are concerns among expatriates because the number of people infected with the coronavirus and the number of deaths reported in various provinces are increasing at an alarming rate."

"Saudi Government and Health Ministry are taking excellent precautionary measures, however, in the coming days expect to see the number of cases to increase in Saudi Arabia. The Indian government needs to take diplomatic and immediate intervention to ensure the treatment of Indian expatriates considering the number of effected people increasing", He said.

He also urged that the Embassy and the Government of India should ensure qaurantiane faculty for Indian expatriates and arrange special low cost flights to bring back expatriates who would like to return home country.

" Government of India and Indian embassy need to intervene immediately to ensure that the quarantine system is in place for Indian expatriates as the facilities in the rooms where the residents are staying together are very limited. There should also be a mechanism to organize low-cost flight services for expatriates who are ready to go home. The government system should also be able to accommodate the expatriates in special quarantine areas in hometown as soon they arrive in India", he urged.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.
