Kannur, Apr 19: Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad appealed to the voters of Kerala to exercise their franchise in favour of Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) candidates to protect democracy and secularism in the country.

Addressing an election rally at Mattannur in support of UDF candidate K Sudhakaran on Friday, Mr Azad said to protect democracy and secularism in the country, the 'autocratic' style of functioning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi must end and he should not get a second term.
