BCF felicitates Mohiuddin Bava, Dr Devi Prasad, Zafarullah, Sheikabba

Dubai: The Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF) arranged a special felicitation function at the Suba Banquet Hall in Dubai for Mohiuddin Bava, Mangaluru North MLA, Dr Devi Prasad Shetty, District President of Union of Udupi District Gramma Panchayaths, Zafarullah Khan, Chief Advisor, BCF and Managing Director, Zain International Group of Hotels and K.S. Sheikkaba, Founder General Secretary, BCF.

Dr Kaup Mohamed welcomed all the guests. Dr. B.K. Yusuf, President of BCF presided over the function. Dr. Yusuf thanked Mr. Zafarullah Khan for his valuable support to BCF. He praised the magnanimity of Mr. Zafarullah khan’s contribution in serving the society. He thanked him for his pledge to continue with BCF. He explained about the forthcoming BCF World Kannadiga Convention, his plan and strategy to make it most successful event and he expressed his hope that all the Leaders and the Committee members of BCF will join their hands together to make that program a thundering success. He also thanked Mr.Devi Prasad Shetty and Mr. K.S. Sheikkabba for attending the program this function.

Mr. Zafarullah Khan was nominated as the Chairman of the World Kannadiga Convention for Arts and Culture 2016 scheduled to be held in April 2016. Mr. Zafarullah Khan expressed his pride to be with BCF and in its course of Social Service, he promised his continuing support to BCF at all points of time. He also praised the leadership of BCF and commitments of its committee members. He pledged his full support to the forth coming BCF event namely World Kannadiga Convention for Arts and Culture 2016 and also stated that he will invite renowned personalities of the State of Karnataka to attend this function.

Mr. Moideen Bawa, MLA expressed his pleasure to be associated with BCF since several years. He promised to provide full support to BCF for cultural programs and scholarship activities.

Dr.Deviprasada Shetty stated that he was highly delighted to attend the function and thanked BCF for its kind hospitality. He also stated that with the support of all community members, he succeeded in making Belapu an ideal Village and is planning to make further rural development by Establishing Colleges, Professional Training centres etc.

Mr. K S Shekabba thanked the BCF for honouring him. He elaborated how few NRI Beary brothers in UAE initiated the Idea of forming an association and subsequently under the leadership of Dr. Yusuf the BCF was founded. He expressed his pleasure to see that today BCF has grown substantially to become one of the most dynamic association.

The felicitation function was attended by all the managing committee members including Vice presidents, ladies wing members and several other guests. Industrialist Mr. Chandrahas and Mr. Anantaram were given a bouquet as a mark of respect. Similarly, Mrs. Zafarullah Khan and Mrs. Seikkabba were also given a bouquet. Mr. Niyaz Ahmed from Coastal digest and Mr. Rafique Kolpe from VK news were also given a bouquet and where nominated as the media coordinator for the forthcoming BCF event. Buffet dinner was hosted by the BCF. Mr. Abdul Lathif Mulky proposed vote of thanks.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.

Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee, Saudi Arabia organized Republic Day program at AlRyan Policlinic Restaurant Auditorium, Dammam on 25th January 2020.

Abdul Waris, Former Chairman of Indian International School Dammam Inaugurated the program.

Wasim Rabbani, president of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee Presided over the program.

Mansoor Shah KFUPM, Indian Social Forum Delhi Zone President, Dr. Fayaz Ahmed from King Fahad University Hospital, Amir Moulavi, Executive Member,  India Fraternity Forum (IFF) Dammam, Nasir Koduvalli, Indian Social Forum, Kerala State President, Dammam, Sharief, Social Forum Karnataka State President, DammamJahangir Moulavi, Tamilnadu State president delivered speech at the program. Mohammed Firoz, Indian Social Forum  President, Jubail read the preamble of constitution. 

 Nameer Kerala , Secretary, Social Forum Central Committee welcomed guests while Ashraf Karnataka, General Secretary, Central Committee delivered vote of thanks and Tahir Hyderabad, Secretary, Indian Social Forum, Central Committee coordinated the program.

Dammam: President of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Mr.Wasim Rabbani urged immediate intervention of Indian government to help Non Residential Indians who are in trouble due to corona pandemic in Saudi Arabia.

He said in a press rease that expatriate Indians are in concern  as number of corona infected people and  deaths are increasing in danger level.

Hea said, "the Saudi health minister's statement a few days ago indicates that the situation in Saudi needs to be taken more seriously with precautionary methods. There are concerns among expatriates because the number of people infected with the coronavirus and the number of deaths reported in various provinces are increasing at an alarming rate."

"Saudi Government and Health Ministry are taking excellent precautionary measures, however, in the coming days expect to see the number of cases to increase in Saudi Arabia. The Indian government needs to take diplomatic and immediate intervention to ensure the treatment of Indian expatriates considering the number of effected people increasing", He said.

He also urged that the Embassy and the Government of India should ensure qaurantiane faculty for Indian expatriates and arrange special low cost flights to bring back expatriates who would like to return home country.

" Government of India and Indian embassy need to intervene immediately to ensure that the quarantine system is in place for Indian expatriates as the facilities in the rooms where the residents are staying together are very limited. There should also be a mechanism to organize low-cost flight services for expatriates who are ready to go home. The government system should also be able to accommodate the expatriates in special quarantine areas in hometown as soon they arrive in India", he urged.
