BJP committed to Ram Temple construction: UP deputy CM

Belagavi, Feb 19: Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Mourya said that the BJP will not allow even a single brick in the name of Babar at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Mourya said that the party will fulfill its commitment of building Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

He said that every possible attempt is being made to isolate Pakistan after the recent Pulwama terror attack. “India is engaged in strategies to respond to the attack,” he said.

Maurya said that the coalition government in Karnataka will collapse any time. He termed the alliance of opposition parties ‘thagabandhan’ (group of cheaters) and said there has been a lot support to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again. He said the BJP will cross 300 seats in the upcoming general elections.

Earlier, Maurya addressed a gathering of leaders of Shakti Kendras from Belagavi and Chikkodi parliamentary constituencies at Gandhi Bhavan where he avoided receiving garlands owing to the killing of CRPF soldiers in Pulwama. The BJP leader vowed not to be felicitated until India avenged the Pulwama terror attack.

MP Suresh Angadi, Rajya Sabha member Prabhakar Kore, MLAs Abhay Patil, Anil Benake, MLCs Mahantesh Kavatagimath, Hanmant Nirani, district BJP (rural) president Dr Vishwanath Patil and city president Rajendra Harkuni were present.

The fellow with criminal mindset no need to teach us his religious faith.  For the past  Four and a Half years where was he and his Thugs including Mr.Modi, Iranian Shah.  Why all of sudden these thugs showing Ram Mandir faith now. Rss led BJPeans new jumla baaji  just fool  Kannadiga and to get  maximum seats during  2019 general election. After that  for another 5years  Ram Mandit  project will be in Vanawaas and nothng religious faith.

Here no need to fool the qualified Kannadigas this not UP. Hindu are well qualified and have good faith with the religion and as well as with other religions. Let us to live freely as normal and get lost from our holy land.

Bengaluru, May 9: Dubai NRI Kannadigaru president and entrepreneur Naveed Magundi in a video message thanked government of India for helping stranded Indians in Arab countries to return home. 

The video was shared by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwath Narayan on Friday on Twitter. 

"Kannadigas, who are in trouble in the Arab countries and wanting to return home, have got the central government's rapid response. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gratitude video on behalf of Dubai President Kannadigas," Narayan said in the tweet.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has prepared a chart for the first phase evacuation of over 14,000 Indian nationals stranded in 13 foreign countries by 64 flights in week one of the operation.

Bengaluru, Feb 2: A woman from Bengaluru lost Rs 2.8 lakh to a 'foreign friend' who promised her gifts, including gold jewellery and foreign currency.

Priya, 37, of Banashankari III Stage, told police a man named Bright Wills from England befriended her on social media in December 2019.

On December 20, Wills said he would send gold ornaments and some British pounds as gifts to celebrate their friendship and took her postal address.

“A woman claiming to be an official from the customs office, Delhi, called me on December 21. She told me there was a courier from England in my name and I should pay Rs 75,000 tow ards customs clearance. I believed her and transferred Rs 75,000 to a bank account number provided by her. On December 23, another woman called and said gold ornaments had been sent to me by courier and I had to pay Rs 2.1 lakh towards the paperwork. I transferred the money to another account number mentioned by her," Priya told police.

"On December 25, I received an email which said I should make a surety deposit of Rs 4.3 lakh within 48 hours or else the courier would be sent back to its original destination. I realised I had been cheated by Wills and others. Till now, I have paid Rs 2.8 lakh to them," she claimed.

Mangaluru, Jan 31: Four people, including a minor and a teen-aged boy, have been arrested on charges of spreading false messages on social media with in Bantwal taluk of Dakshnina Kannada District.

Police said on Friday that the arrested have been identified as Siddik (27), K Mohammed (19), Hanif (25) and a 16-year-old boy.

They are accused of spreading false news on social media using different mobile numbers in Bantwal Taluk for disturbing communal harmony, police said adding a case had been registered at the Vitla police station in this connection.
