Mangaluru, Sept 3: BJP state vice president and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on Sunday said the BJP Yuva Morcha will go ahead with its proposed bike rally to Mangaluru, to protest against killing of RSS activists, even if the state government denies permission.

“Siddaramaiah-led Congress government is trying to suppress the proposed rally. The police have not given permission even after submitting the required details/documents sought by them. We have sought permission from Director General and Inspector General of Police, Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police and Mangaluru Police Commissioner for the rally,” Kateel told reporters.

“The Congress government is trying to suppress the rally. It is following dictatorial attitude and trying to impose Emergency-like situation through back door,” he said.

He said the Dakshina Kannada police have served notices to halls that have been booked by the BJP for providing accommodation to the Yuva Morcha activists who come from different parts of the state. Now, the BJP has identified around 3,000 to 4,000 houses of party workers, where the activists will stay. Around 10,000 bikes have been registered for the rally.

“Siddaramaiah is behaving like Hitler. He is using the police and the administrative machinery against the BJP,” Kateel charged. “Our demand is that the government should ban PFI, SDPI and KFD and hand over all the murders of the Hindu activists to the CBI for probe,” Kateel said.
