Jammu, Jul 1: A photograph of Jammu and Kashmir BJP leader and Health Minister Chaudhary Lal Singh touching a woman doctor indecently has gone viral on social media.

The photograph was taken when the BJP leader had gone to a government hospital to check preparedness for the Amarnath pilgrimage, which began today.

The opposition demanded a stringent action against the minister for his inappropriate act.

Singh has courted controversy just two weeks after taking his oath in February as JK Health Minister this year, after a woman doctor filed a complaint against him, accusing him of mental harassment amounting to outraging modesty.

The complainant alleged that she was standing with other hospital staff when the minister walked towards her and asked her why wasn't she wearing her lab coat.

To this, she replied that as it was a social function she thought it was not required. The minister, according to the complainant, shouted at her and said, it is an official function.

The doctor said she informed the minister that at times psychiatrists don’t wear their coats even in hospital wards, so as to make their patients feel comfortable around them. But, she alleged, the minister shouted at her and said, “Who has invited you here?”

“He snapped his fingers at me and said ‘Tumhara Kaam Ho gaya, chalo niklo bahar’,” the doctor said in her complaint. She said the incident had shattered her emotionally and requested the SHO to register an FIR against the minister.

These can be really good because they are made to be like
a tiny greenhouse and will really encourage the growth of your herbs.
If you do obtain insects however, spray them with a few soapy water
or some leftover dark tea. If you've turned on the TV in the past two years, you've probably seen the commercials for the Topsy Turvy fruit
and vegetable planters.

The 70 columnists attending Tuesday's meeting write in different languages.

The meeting, in Chhattarpur in New Delhi, is a closed-door meeting and the proceedings are "strictly confidential", the sources said

Madikeri, Mar 29: In an alarming situation in neighbouring Kerala State and instances of inter-state migration of Coronavirus suspects, the authorities on Sunday sealed both Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu borders, prohibiting entry of people from Kerala into Karnataka.

Dakshina Kannada had sealed its borders after repeated instances of people misusing ambulance services to travel to Mangalore. Villagers along with the police hauled mud on to the roads that were used as alternate routes.

The road that connects the two States, which people from east Kasargod used to enter into Karnataka, were closed at Mulleria by dumping mud on the road.

New Delhi, Feb 24: India has deeply appreciated the Senegal government's decision to extradite fugitive gangster Ravi Poojary to India, official sources said on Sunday.

Facilitation of transit provided by the Government of France has also been acknowledged, they said.

Ravi Prakash Poojary, accused of committing a number of serious offences including murder and extortion in multiple jurisdictions, was extradited from Senegal on Saturday.

The probe agencies have persistently pursued the case for his extradition with the authorities in Senegal. India had made a request with Senegal for his extradition in early 2019, sources said.

Poojary was associated with gangster Chhota Rajan, but he also worked for fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
