Kolkata, May 12: At least 17 people were injured after a low-intensity blast on the Sealdah-Krishnanagar local train in Kolkata on Tuesday. The blast took place at 3:55 am after the train left Titagarh.
According to police, passengers travelling in the fifth bogey hurled bombs at each other after a scuffle.
The injured have been admitted to RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
Top police officials are on the spot. Local train services have been hit because of the blast.
