Mangaluru, Aug 4: Blood Helpline-Karnataka will be celebrating its first anniversary by holding a massive blood donation camp on August 6th at Forum Fiza Mall, Manglauru. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. As part of the program it will also honor the achievers in the society.
The program will be presided over by Iftikar Krishnapura and will be inaugurated by U.T.Khader, Minister for Food and Public Distribution in Karnataka.
Ramanath Rai, minister for forest, environment and ecology, T R Suresh, commissioner of police, Mangaluru, Hanumantharaya, DCP (Crime and Traffic), B A Moideen Bava, MLA, Mangaluru city north, J R Lobo, MLA Mangaluru city south, B A Farook, State General Secretary of JDS, Zakariya Jokatte, Chairman of Hidaya Foundation, Hanif Khan Kodaje, Kavita Sanil, Mayor of Mangaluru, Mustafa Addoor Demmale, Advisor Blood Help Line Karnataka, will be present among others on the occasion.
Religious leaders of different faiths including Abdul Azeez Daarimi (Chokkabettu Jumma Masjid), Sri Raamanaatha Hegade (Mangalaa Devi Temple), Fr Valerian D'Souza (Milagres Church), activists and philanthropists will also take part.
The young enthusiastic team of Blood Helpline, arranges the blood during emergency requirements in coastal district and other parts of the state, stated a release issued by the organizers.
