Mysuru, Feb 22: A bomb threat call at City Railway Station on Friday, which sent panic among the traveling public, turned out to be a hoax.
Railway officials said that an unidentified person called the Station Officer in the early hours saying he has planted a bomb at the railway station. He didn’t specify which railway station he was speaking of.
The bomb defusing squad and dog squad were pressed into service and inspected all the stations including city central railway station. They also inspected all the trains. Fortunately, it turned out to be a hoax call as nothing was found.
