Kannur, Feb 2: Thalassery police recovered one powerful bomb and weapons including two axes, one sword, and five steel containers (kept for making bombs) from an unused plot at Kolassery near Kavumbagham on Saturday.
According to police, the bomb and weapons were recovered in a raid conducted by police following a tip off around 11.30 hrs.
The recovered articles were concealed under bushes and were shifted to police station. The raids would be continue in coming days, police said.
New Delhi, Jul 31: Air India has operated more than 2800 flights and flown over 3 lakh passengers worldwide till now under the Vande Bharat Mission.

The fifth phase of the Government of India's 'Vande Bharat' mission, aimed at evacuating Indian nationals stranded in various foreign countries owing to restrictions on air travel, will begin early next month, August 1.
"Under Vande Bharat Mission, we have already brought back more than 2.5 lakh stranded Indians from 53 commies," Air India had earlier said in a statement.
Over 7.88 lakh Indians stranded abroad due to coronavirus pandemic have returned under Vande Bharat Mission till July 22, Ministry of External Affairs had said.
The government started Vande Bharat Mission on May 7.
Bhopal, Jul 7: Anil Mishra, personal assistant to BJP Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, has tested positive.
He has been accompanying Scindia throughout his tours post-corona infection.
His contact trail is longer than that of Scindia. He has been in touch with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Mishra was present during Scindia's meetings with the MLAs and the swearing in ceremony of the MP ministry on July 2.
BJP sources say there is concern over the possible list of people who will be put in isolation to check the spread of the virus.
New Delhi, Apr 6: With an increase of 490 cases in the last 12 hours, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in India climbed to 4067, said Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday.
As many as 109 deaths have been reported across the country due to the deadly disease.
There are 3666 active cases in the country while 292 people have been cured/discharged/migrated.
Maharashtra has reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases so far, standing at 690, followed by Tamil Nadu and Delhi with 571 and 503 cases respectively.
