Kannur, Nov 8: An office of the RSS at Koothuparamba here came under bomb attack on Tuesday evening.
The police said that two crude bombs were thrown at the RSS office at 4 p.m. Windowpanes of the office were damaged in the explosion. The police said the nearby Sree Narayana Mandiram also suffered some damages in the attack.
The BJP leadership alleged that CPI(M) activists were behind it. According to the BJP, the attackers came on a motorcycle and threw the bomb at the RSS office.
BJP district president P. Sathyaprakashan said in a statement that the CPI(M) was inciting violence by attacking the offices of the BJP and the RSS. The CPI(M) alone would be responsible if the situation escalated, he said.
Mangaluru, Jan 16: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is holding rallies and meetings and distributing booklets across the country in support of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, said ABVP National Secretary Harsha Narayan here on Thursday.
