Maddur, Apr 13: Karnataka Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy clarified on Saturday, that he had not made any insulting remarks on soldiers, who joining the Indian armed forces "because it was due to their poor financial conditions", as reported in a section of the media.
Speaking to newsmen, during his campaign for his son Nikhil K, fighting Lok Sabha elections from the Mandya Constituency, the chief minister said, “I had only reflected on the financial status some of the soldiers, who join the Army”.
“There was no any intention to demean them nor insulted the soldiers” he said.90 lakh voters.
