Bengaluru, Feb 26: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has said that law and order has been under control in Karnataka with effective policing and no major incidents of communal clashes have been reported from coastal Karnataka.
Speaking to the media after a meeting with senior police officers, he said the State police were ready for the upcoming general elections.
“The police have been asked to take stringent action against mischief mongers involved in hate campaigns on social media,” he said.
The cybercrime, intelligence, and law and order police are keeping an eye on such people who post on social media to create disturbance, he said.
