Mangaluru, Sep 3: Terming the anti-Hijab agitation launched by a group of students belonging to Hindutva groups at Dr K Shivarama Karantha Government First Grade College in Bellare in Sullia taluk as “undemocratic”, Popular Front of India (PFI) and Campus Front of India (CFI) have urged authorities concerned to maintain the status quo in allowing Muslim girls to wear scarf (hijab).hijab1

A section of male students of the college have started wearing saffron shawls in the class to registering their protest against Muslim girls wearing scarf. While the college has 495 students, 19 are Muslims and 15 of them are girls.

In a media release, CFI Karnataka unit has demanded religious freedom for Muslim girls in the college by allowing scarf. It pointed out that Muslim girls studying in the college have been wearing scarf as per their Constitutional and religious freedom for several years.

"Though Muslim girls were wearing scarf as per tradition for several years, it has never been an issue and neither had it created any obstacle in the college. Wearing scarf is a compulsory dress code for women in Islam. Our Constitution agrees to it. Further, scarf is a symbol of respect for women too," the release stated.

A delegation of PFI members have met Sullia taluk tahsildar and Bellare police to take the issue seriously by taking action against those who are trying to make the issue communal.

"Everyone in India has their own customs and traditions and our nation has unity in diversity. Hence, we must learn to live harmoniously by respecting each other in India. However, it is unfortunate that a section of students have been opposing Muslim girls wearing scarf with communal agenda. Students and their parents have already met the principal and submitted a memorandum urging the college authorities to allow scarf for Muslim girls and uphold the Constitutional values," the release added.

It is Good that people recognize what is evil and what is Good.
People have also started to learn more about ISLAM
ISLAM in media is different than ISLAM described in QURAN.
People should know ISLAM in QURAN rather than depending on ISLAM in media of cheddis
People also started to know that even SITA WAS COVERING
People also learnt that MARY was also COVERING their head.

Those women who COVER, Should be PROUD as their are following the Divine revelation and dont worry about the consequences... ALLAH's help will be with U.
Those who want to reject the covering should Learn what God says in every religious scripture on women's covering.

Dont side with the EVIL by supporting its agenda...

Vijayapura, June 16: Even as a video of a man wearing a burqa who is being thrashed by locals is going viral on social media, netizens targeted Bharatiya Janata Party for their activist resorting to heinous acts.

The man who was caught in burqa has been identified as Siddu Paragond, an activist of Snagh Parivar hailing from Sindgi town in Karnataka’s Vijayapura district.

The bizarre incident took place in Sindgi on June 11 outside a bank.

“While people including women were standing in a queue outside the bank, the person in burqa was acting in a suspicious manner. The person was trying to get too close to women which was making them feel awkward,” local residents said.

“Getting suspicious, some locals tried to interact and their suspicion rose with the strange behaviour of the person. Suddenly some men took the person away from the bank and checked only to find that it was a man in burqa. The men thrashed him and handed him over to police,” the sources said.

Confirming this, Superintendent of Police Anupam Agrawal said that the Siddu Paragond has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. He, however, made it clear that no suspicious objects were found on Siddu. “We are trying to find out the motive for his act,” the SP said.

Beijing, Feb 21: A 29-year-old Chinese doctor, who postponed his wedding to treat patients infected with the deadly coronavirus, has died treating them after being infected by the virus, the ninth fatality among the healthcare providers working to contain the outbreak.

Dr Peng Yinhua, doctor of a Wuhan hospital who treated patients infected with the coronavirus, died on Thursday night, according to the health bureau.

Peng, a respiratory acute care medical professional, became infected while working to combat the novel coronavirus at the First People's Hospital of Jiangxia District of Wuhan. He was hospitalised on January 25 and transferred to the Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital for treatment on January 30.

"Peng Yinhua, a frontline doctor at Jiangxia First Hospital in virus epicenter #Wuhan, died of #COVID19 on Thursday night. He had earlier delayed his wedding as he wanted to treat patients with the disease at hospital," state-run Global Times tweeted on Friday.

He died from the virus despite doctors' all-out efforts to save his life.

Chinese health authorities have asked health agencies to apply for the honour of martyr for deceased medical staff to the veteran's affairs authorities, comfort the families of the deceased and help solve their difficulties, as well as publicise stories of those who sacrificed their lives during the epidemic, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Li Wenliang, the 34-year-old Chinese doctor, who was one of the first people to sound the alarm about the new outbreak died on February 7.

Li sent a message to his medical-school alumni group on December 30, warning that seven patients had been quarantined at Wuhan Central Hospital after coming down with a respiratory illness that seemed like the SARS coronavirus. But Wuhan police reprimanded and silenced Li.

Earlier, Dr Liu Zhiming, head of the Wuchang Hospital died due to the virus. On the same day Liu Fan, senior nurse of the hospital, died along with her parents and brother due to the virus.

China’s National Health Commission earlier said that a total of 1,716 medical workers had contracted the infection as of February 11.

Peng's death takes the death toll among the medical staff to nine.
