Muslims are Hindus by nationality, says RSS chief

February 9, 2017

Betul (MP), Feb 9: Asserting that all the people who live in Hindustan and who have respect for its traditions are Hindus, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday said that although Muslims have a different way of performing prayers, they are Hindus by nationality.

mohan“Whoever lives in Hindustan and has respect for its traditions, are all Hindus. Muslims may have different ways of performing prayers, but their nationality is Hindu. All Hindus are accountable for Hindustan,” Mr. Bhagwat told aHindu Sammelan' here.

“Across the world Indian society is known as Hindu. All Bharatiya [Indians] are Hindus and we all are one entity,” he said.

Hindus should remain alert for the honour of the country, he said. “Across the globe it has been said that Bharat will become the world guru. In such a situation we are accountable for the country.

It is necessary for Hindus to remain united and bury their differences.

“Our caste, sub-caste, rituals and language may be different, but the language of our hearts is one. Diversity in life is beautiful, but it should also have unity,” he said.

Urging people to take a pledge to remain united, the RSS chief also asked them to conserve nature and perform such acts that would enhance the pride of the nation.

Stressing on social harmony, he said that if the differences among Hindus persist, then society would suffer, instead of becoming strong.

“The outside world is uniting, but it is not happening here in the country,” he remarked.

Earlier, he visited Betul district jail and paid tributes to second Sarsanghchalak of RSS late Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar.

Your topic is outdated... people know your evil intention to make peaceful hindus and muslims fight each other..
It would be better for you to look Who is our CREATOR and how he wants our life to be lived rather than only creating evils in the society...

Its Great to hear from him Mr. Bhagavat about Hinduism why he reminded only about Muslims( may be upcoming UP Election) why not Dalit and Cristians why he spared them from Hinduism by the way if you study the deep root of Hinduism you will never find its a religion its a practice of all culture and morals of the land called Hindustan those who were living in the bank of Sindh and mohanjedaro in the earlier centuries used to calls Hindus people. Now RSS want to re write the history of Mughal kings are may be called Hindu emperors the easy example like Akbar the great.

Mohan Bhagwat should be an Indian and respect all Indians first. He should denounce statements from various sanghis on patriotism of non-Hindus. Mohan Bhagwat should respect Indian constitution and urge all the hate mongers to respect it.

May 12: Children suffering from non-respiratory disease symptoms like diarrhea and fever, or those with a history of exposure to the novel coronavirus, should be suspected of having COVID-19, a new study says.

According to the research, published in the journal Frontiers in Pediatrics, gastrointestinal symptoms first suffered by some children hints at potential infection with SARS-CoV-2 through the digestive tract.

"This case series is the first report to describe the clinical features of COVID-19 with non-respiratory symptoms as the first manifestation in children," the scientists from Tongji Hospital in China wrote in the study.

They explained that the gastrointestinal symptoms could be arising since the type of receptors in lung cells targeted by the virus can also be found in the intestines.

Most children are only mildly affected by COVID-19, and the few severe cases often have underlying health issues, the researchers said.

"It is easy to miss its diagnosis in the early stage, when a child has non-respiratory symptoms, or suffers from another illness," said study co-author Wenbin Li, who works at the Department of Pediatrics, Tongji Hospital.

"Based on our experience of dealing with COVID-19, in regions where this virus is epidemic, children suffering from digestive tract symptoms, especially with fever and/or a history of exposure to this disease, should be suspected of being infected with this virus," Li said.

In the study, the scientists described the clinical features of children admitted to hospital with non-respiratory symptoms, who were subsequently diagnosed with pneumonia and COVID-19.

"These children were seeking medical advice in the emergency department for unrelated problems, for example, one had a kidney stone, another a head trauma," Li said.

The study noted that all the children had pneumonia, which was confirmed by chest X-ray scan before or soon after admission.

These children were then confirmed to have COVID-19.

While their COVID-19 symptoms were initially mild or relatively hidden before their hospital admission, four out of the five cases had digestive tract symptoms as the first manifestation of this disease, the researchers said.

Li hopes that doctors will use the findings to quickly diagnose and isolate patients with similar symptoms, which may aid early treatment and reduce transmission.

According to the researchers, the children's gastrointestinal symptoms, which have also been recorded in adult patients, could be an additional route of infection.

"The gastrointestinal symptoms experienced by these children may be related to the distribution of receptors and the transmission pathway associated with COVID-19 infection in humans," Li explained.

Since the virus infects people via the ACE2 receptor, which can be found in certain cells in the lungs as well as the intestines, COVID-19 might infect patients not only through the respiratory tract in the form of air droplets, but also through the digestive tract by contact or fecal-oral transmission, the study noted.

While COVID-19 tests can occasionally produce false positive readings, Li said all the five children assessed in the study were infected with the disease.

However, he cautioned that more research is needed to confirm their findings.

"We report five cases of COVID-19 in children showing non-respiratory symptoms as the first manifestation after admission to hospital. The incidence and clinical features of similar cases needs further study in more patients," he said.

Bengaluru, Jan 19: Australia has conferred its highest civilian honour, the Order of Australia honour, on Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw for her contribution towards advancing the country's relationship with India.

Australia's High Commissioner to India Harinder Sidhu invested Mazumdar-Shaw as an Honorary Member within the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division at a ceremony in Bengaluru on Friday, the Australian High Commission said in a statement.

An alumnus of Federation University Australia, Mazumdar-Shaw is the founder of Biocon, one of India's largest bio-pharmaceutical companies.

She contributes immensely to promoting women in STEM through the joint research programmes developed between Biocon and Deakin University, Australia, as part of her deep and long-standing commitment to gender equality, the statement said.

Mazumdar-Shaw - an Australian Global Alumni Ambassador - is also recognised for her sustained and significant contribution to industry academia collaboration between Australia and India, it said.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from Indian and Australian business, the diplomatic corps, and family, friends and peers of Mazumdar-Shaw, the statement said.

Speaking at the event, Sidhu said, "Dr Mazumdar-Shaw is a tireless champion of the commercial, educational, and people-to-people links between our two countries, and this award recognises her commitment to progressing the Australia-India partnership."

Honorary appointments in the Order of Australia are made to foreign nationals who have made an outstanding contribution to Australia or humanity at large.

Mazumdar-Shaw is the fourth Indian citizen to be awarded Australia's highest civilian honour.

This follows the conferment of superstar batsman Sachin Tendulkar in 2012, Former Attorney General of India Soli Jehangir Sorabjee in 2006, and Mother Teresa of Kolkata (Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu) in 1982.

Bengaluru, Apr 4: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Friday asked Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar to be the government's spokesperson on the Novel Coronavirus crisis management effort, a move that is being seen as keeping too many cooks from spoiling the broth.

At a high-level meeting to review measures on COVID-19 containment, Mr Yediyurappa is said to have taken exception to his Cabinet colleagues making multiple, and often contradictory statements, leading to confusion.

''The CM has directed Mr Kumar to be the only one to brief the media on COVID-19,'' a source from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) confirmed.
