Aysha Girls PU College secures 100% results: Here are toppers

Puttur, Apr 30: Aysha Girls Pre University College at Athoor, Uppinangady has achieved 100 percent result in both Arts and Commerce streams in the second PUC examination results that were declared today.

Commerce toppers in the college: Sahada (567); Fahima (565); Mainaz (524); Rameeza (516) 

30 students had appeared for the exams.

Among 18 Commerce students, 4 secured distinction and 14 secured first class marks.

Among 12 Arts students, 8 secured first class and 4 secured second class.

Tumakuru, Jun 20: An SSLC student of Siddaganga Mutt here was admitted to the isolation ward of the district hospital on Saturday after he showed Covid-19 symptoms.

Health officials said that the student, a native of the Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, had returned to the Mutt via Raichur on June 15 for writing the SSLC examination scheduled to begin on June 25.

After he was admitted to the hospital the Health Department Officials kept three of his roommates under quarantine. Throat swab sample of the student has also been sent for testing.

Mandya, Jul 6: With a journalist from Srirangapatna testing positive for Covid-19, the Mandya District Journalists Association was sealed as a precautionary measure.

Association President K C Manjunath said on Monday that as the reporter has tested positive for Covid-19, it was voluntarily decided to seal down the premises for another month.
