Centre should enact law to check cow slaughter: Sadhvi Saraswati

Jamshedpur, May 20: The Centre should enact a law with a provision of life imprisonment to check cow slaughter, VHP leader Sadhvi Saraswati said here today. The sadhvi, president of Sanatan Dharma Prachar Seva Samity, said though some states have enacted legislations to prevent cow slaughter, a law should be framed and implemented properly at the national level. The VHP leader said she will carry on with her activities despite being booked under the non-bailable sections of the IPC on April 30.

Sadhvi Saraswati was booked under non-bailable sections of the Indian Penal Code allegedly for exhorting violence and hurting religious sentiments in her speech at a Hindu convention in Kerala,

She was in the city to participate in a function organised by the Hindu Jagran Manch.

The sadhvi said over 600 persons had trolled on her facebook page following her recent comment on consumption of beef.

She exuded confidence that the Ram Temple would be built in Ayodhya despite the delays.

cannot slaughter cow surely we agree, we dont want to eat cow meat , even in gulf country ,but why hypocracy of exporting cow meat to other outside countries, our govt should stop exporting ,I will agree or else this issue  of hypocrate

About the caste n religion there should be any sort of blood shed murder or hate speech.  About ayodya issue hope SC will give a fare decision respecting all religion if criminal groups nor enter their nose with our nations judicual system. About cow slaughter and export,most leaders of vhp groups are in this trade. Then why this so called sadvi with double fame policy.

Mangaluru, July 13: Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP of Dakshina Kannada, has appealed the chief minister to give nod to impose a week-long lockdown in the coastal district in the wake of mounting coronavirus cases.

Mr Kateel, who is also the president of Karnataka BJP, participated in a video conference with chief minister BS Yediyurappa along with Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh and district in charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.

The final decision about the lockdown in the district will be taken following a meeting under the leadership of the deputy commissioner, wherein the elected representatives of the district will express their opinions.

Hubbali, Mar 21: South Western Railway suspended an employee on Thursday, for allegedly hiding her son's travel history who returned from Spain. The employee's son has now been kept under isolation.

Earlier it was reported that the man had a travel history of Italy- among the worst affected countries by Coronavirus.

He was working in Germany and had taken a flight from Spain to return to India.

In an order issued by General Manager of South Western Railway, the employee was further asked to leave the headquarter without obtaining permission from the competent authority.

The suspended Railway Officer is posted in Bengaluru.
According to the official data, the total number of Covid-19 cases in India has risen to 206, according to ICMR. Timely diagnosis and isolation have been considered vital to check the spread of the deadly disease.

Mangaluru, Jan 23: City Police Commissioner PS Harsha on Thursday said that Aditya Rao, who had surrendered after planting a bomb at the Mangaluru International Airport, had studied how to assemble an explosive device online.

Speaking to media persons here, Dr Harsha said that 36-year-old Rao, who holds engineering and MBA degrees, had worked in the financial sector for some time, but left, after realising that white-collar jobs were not suited for him and turned towards blue-collar jobs.

He took up a job as a security guard of a reputed college in the district. He also worked at few hotels in the city before leaving for Bengaluru.
