Unnao, Jul 6: In a shocking incident, a video has gone viral in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao, in which three men can be seen molesting a woman.

The accused forcibly picked the woman from her home and took her to a secluded forest area in order to molest her.

The Gangaghat police had launched a manhunt to nab the accused. They arrested two men Rahul and Akash on Friday and search for the other accused is underway.

In the video, two men can be seen grabbing the woman from behind, she is heard screaming and pleading, "bhaiya aisa kaam mat karo (Brother, please don't do this). The men pull her by her hair and use offensive language. One of them can be heard saying, "hamri chappl utar aaegi ab" (Will beat you with my sandal). She can then be seen joining her hands and repeating "No", reported NDTV.

The Superintendent of Police, North Unnao, Anoop Singh said, "A video from Unnao in which three men are molesting a woman has gone viral. We are trying to find the source of the video. Our team is working on it. Once we identify the accused strictest action will be taken against them." Further investigation is underway.

Last month, a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 25-year-old man in Unnao.

The industrial city has recently seen a rise in such incidents and has been in the news for crime against women.

In April, a 16-year-old girl from Unnao had accused a BJP lawmaker Kuldeep Singh Sengar of raping her about a year ago.

May 12: A Madhya Pradesh Police sub-inspector was fined Rs 5,000 after he performed a daredevil act of balancing himself on two moving cars, copying the famous stunt from Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Singham'.

Manoj Yadav, the in-charge of Narsinghgarh police post in Damoh district, was also warned against any such daredevilry in future, police sources said on Monday.

Sporting shades as the hero of the cop drama film and wearing his police uniform, Yadav got the entire episode video-graphed, they said.

As the video of the stunt went viral on social media, senior police officials took serious note of it as it will send wrong signals to youngsters, the sources said.

Inspector General, Sagar range, Anil Sharma directed Damoh Superintendent of Police Hemant Chauhan to probe the matter.

After an investigation, Chauhan imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the sub-inspector and warned him not to repeat such mistakes.

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 5: One man has been arrested in connection with the death of a pregnant elephant in Palakkad district here, Kerala Forest Minister K Raju said on Friday.

"One accused identified as Wilson has been arrested in connection with the case. More people are involved. The process to arrest all the accused is underway. Strict action will be taken in the matter to ensure such incidents are not repeated in the future," Raju told reporters here.

The elephant had died in Palakkad district on May 27 after it ate a pineapple stuffed with crackers and forest officials said that it died standing in river Velliyar after it suffered an injury in its lower jaw.

Raju said that the forest department has appointed three teams to probe the matter, and added that police are also investigating the incident as explosives were used.

"There may be some type of crackers inside the fruit. In such cases, blast occurs and the animal can not even drink water. The primary post mortem reports said that this case is like that. Let it be investigated," he said.

"Man and animal conflict is natural in our state as people residing close to the forests. The government gives compensation for farmers, Rs 10 lakhs compensation if a person dies in an animal attack," the Minister added.

The death of the pregnant elephant has sparked a controversy, with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan terming the unfortunate death as "a painful thing" and Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar saying that the Centre has taken a "serious note" of the incident.

According to the preliminary post-mortem report, the immediate cause of the death of the female elephant was drowning followed by inhalation of water leading to lung failure.

The elephant was seen standing in the river with its mouth and trunk in the water for some relief from the pain after the explosive-filled fruit exploded in its mouth.
