Lucknow, Sept 26: Waseem Rizvi, the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh state Shia Waqf Board, who is known for his controversial statements, this time has claimed that Lord Rama visited the former in dreams and that the latter was "sad" over the delay in the construction of the Ram Temple.

"I saw Lord Rama in my dream on Monday night... he was sad and in tears... he wanted a quick settlement of the issue," Rizvi said.

Rizvi, who has demanded the transfer of land of the demolished Babri masjid in Ayodhya in favour of the Hindu parties for construction of the Ram Temple, accused the All India Muslim Personal Law Board of opposing the Ram Temple under the "influence" of Pakistan.

"Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama... some Muslims, under the influence of Pakistan and with the help of the Congress, want the issue to remain unresolved," he claimed.

Rizvi had recently visited a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) workshop, where stones were being carved for the Ram Temple at Ayodhya. He donated Rs 10,000 towards the construction of the temple.

A section of Muslim leaders have slammed Rizvi and termed him a "stooge'' of the BJP and even demanded that he be excommunicated. Rizvi has also been involved in a verbal duel with senior Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawwad.

First of all, does the God cry.  If he is crying he  can not be God.

The one and only true God will never come in dream and will not cry.

The real God is never be seen NOR imaginable to anyone.

This is the attribution of Ture God.

Let us say for the sake of argument, he has dreamed. It does not mean it is credible dream.

The dreams are 2types True dream and  fake Shaytani dream.

About this man who is controversial already in the past,  has always been trying to get the mercy of Hindus. He wants to be closure with them.

He is selling his Islamic values of true belief for worldly gains. He is Munafiq

God knows how Shiyas have selected him to be their head of waqf board.

This is the true picture of Shiyas. No basic knowledge of Thoheed/ Oneness.

May God guide them.

Please give a bit more explanation about the divine-human encounter. Rama was alone or Sita was also there with him? Did he go soon after expressing his sadness before you or he also had food with you before leaving?

Mumbai, May 19: Even as banks in United Arab Emirates are trying to trace NMC founder BR Shetty, a prominent bank in India is seeking to recover loans worth Rs19.13 billion from him and his companies.

A local court has also barred him and his wife from selling or transferring some properties while it hears the case.

In the court filing, the Bank of Baroda said Shetty had an obligation to handover the title deeds of the 16 properties and mortgage the assets with the bank.

The 16 properties in several Indian cities including Bengaluru were among guarantees put up by Shetty and his wife against the Rs19.13 billion ($253 million) loans, according to a May 16 court order seen by Reuters. The court in Bengalaru set the next hearing in the case for June 8.

NMC, the largest private healthcare provider in the UAE, was placed under administration in April after months of turmoil. It disclosed in March it had debts of $6.6 billion, well above earlier estimates of $2.1 billion.

Finablr, in which Shetty has a controlling stake, said in April it may have nearly $1 billion more in debt than previously reported.

Dubai, Jul 5: Three Indians, who were repatriated on a chartered flight from the UAE on Friday, have been held in the state of Rajasthan after officials seized gold worth Dh2.2million from them, the government announced on Saturday.

They are likely to be placed under arrest along with 11 others, who were repatriated from Saudi Arabia, from whom gold worth Dh5.5million was seized, a statement from the government tweeted by Press Information Bureau in Rajasthan said.

The gold bars were hidden in emergency lamps, photos attached to the tweets showed.

The 14 passengers had arrived at the Jaipur International Airport by two chartered flights.

They were intercepted by the Customs team at the airport and 31.9kg of gold valued at Rs156,759,820 (Dh7.7million) concealed in the baggage was recovered from these passengers.

Three passengers arrived from Ras Al Khaimah by Spice Jet Flight SG9055 and 12 gold bars/bricks weighing 9.3kg valued at Rs.45,761,100 (Dh2.2million) were recovered from them, the statement said.

The Indian Consulate in Dubai confirmed to Gulf News that the flight was chartered by a private company for repatriating its employees.

It is suspected that the passengers were used as carriers to smuggle gold.

The other 11 accused had arrived from Riyadh and 22.65kg of gold bars, predominantly with Suisse markings, valued at Rs110,998,720 (Dh5.5million) were recovered from them.

“The said recovered gold bars have been seized under Section 110 of the Customs Act, 1962. The said passengers are being interrogated and are likely to be placed under arrest in terms of section 104 of the Customs Act, 1962,” the statement added.

Indian media had earlier reported similar cases in which stranded Indians were apparently lured to be carriers for smuggling gold on repatriation flights from various countries.

A spike in gold smuggling attempts using Indians getting repatriated after losing jobs was also reported from the Indian state of Kerala.
