Baghpat(UP), Oct 3: After realising that the local police are treating his son’s suspected murder as suicide just because of his religion, a Muslim man in Uttar Pradesh has converted to Hinduism along with 12 members of his family.

The bizarre incident took place at Badarkha village under Chhaprauli police station area in Baghpat district on Monday (October 1). After formal conversation, Akhtar appealed the policemen to reinvestigate this son’s unnatural death case.

“We were Muslims. This might have discouraged the local police to properly investigate my son’s death case. Now, we have converted to Hinduism. I hope that at least now police will stop considering my son’s death as suicide,” said a helpless Akhtar told media persons after submitting affidavit to the area sub-divisional magistrate, testifying his “voluntary” change of religion.

The conversation took place with requisite rituals. The family members wrapped saffron robes around their shoulders and chanted “Jai Shri Ram”. They also got their names changed, he added. A 'hawan' and recitation of Hanuman Chalisa too was held at the Badarkha village on Tuesday.

Later, Yuva Hindu Vahini (Bharat) state chief Shaukendra Khokhar also urged the police to consider Akhtar’s son death case seriously.

Khokhar said Akhtar was upset after his son Gulhasan was "murdered". "Gulhasan's body, however, was hung to make it appear a suicide," he said.

“Despite repeated assertions by the youth’s family that he was murdered, the police concluded it to be a case of suicide. Akhtar’s family sought help from the members of their own community but they were not very forthcoming and did not help them much. This prompted Akhtar and his family members to change their religion,” he said.

Baghpat District Magistrate Rishirendra Kumar confirmed the incident and said the family members changed their religion as they were not satisfied with the police probe into the death of Akhtar's son a few months ago.

Islam is not a religion to add membership to show the population.

It is a true religion to practice guidelines of only one creator Allah (S.B.T). Accepting and quitting Islam will not make any difference for true Muslims. One who understands his creator will not reject his religion even if he dies because his life starts after death which is unlimited. The life in earth is so short that we can compare to hotel stay for a day.

Rejecting Islam means he is rejecting his creator Al Mighty Allah and it doesn’t mean he is quitting from Islam

Islam is the second largest religion in the world only in Qty. where is true Muslim? very few in qty

Accepting Islam doesn’t mean becoming membership in Islam. It is accepting his creator and his guidelines to practice successful and peaceful life and thereby prepare for his permanent life which starts after his death.

For true Muslims there is no fear to die. because he is always prepared and waiting for his death

May Almighty Allah guide us True path and success.

This is really unfortunate.  He has chnged in religion only to get the verdict in his favor.  Suppose he wont get it, will he convert to Christianity or Budhism or Sikhism?   Will the media give same preference in case he would have changed to religion other than Hinduism or if any Hindu converted to another religion.   This issue is now on the top agenda of Media and they are publishing it by applying ghee + butter.   None knows truth behind it.  However this family will not succeed in this world and the life after death if they convert to other religion though none can force them to change the religion.   Islam or Muslims will not lose anything if this family converts to another religion.   But this family will lose and they will realise it sooner or later.  Let us pray God to keep them on right path and not on the path of Sathan.

The religion is set of law decreed by the CREATOR/ ONE AND ONLY GOD.

It guides from birth till death and showing how to be also succesful in the life after the death.

This is not how we think just to suite the temporary needs.

Before accepting or rejecting any religion, he should have thorough idea of its teachings.

Unless it is known, believed in it  and practiced, we can not call him the follower of Hinduism OR ISLAM, OR Christianity OR whatever.

Like changing for personal temporary gains, has no meaning and not required they can live like aninals which have no religions.

The animals follow and  do whatever easy for them.

God give wisdom to all

Wayanad/Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 24: Amid the strict lockdown, a school teacher travelled from Thiruvananthapuram to Muthanga in Wayanad -- a distance of about 465 km -- on her way to neighbouring Karnataka en route to Delhi following which cases have been registered against her and an excise official.

The woman, Kamna Sharma, said to be working in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, undertook the journey on April 21 along with her two year-old daughter, police sources told news agency PTI.

An Excise Circle Inspector, Shahjahan, had provided his vehicle to travel allegedly on the instructions of Malappuram excise officer, in whose private vehicle, the woman and the child had reached Wayanad border from Thiruvananthapuram, the sources said.

The two were charged under the Kerala Epidemic Act and various sections of the IPC including sect 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection) and 271 (disobedience to quarantine rule).

Because of the lockdown even inter-district travel is not allowed by police and district administration, unless there is an extremely genuine reason.

A senior police official in Thiruvananthapuram said he does not remember issuing any such pass.

The woman may have "misused" government machinery as private vehicles would have been stopped somewhere during the long journey, he said.

She came to Kalpetta in Wayanad allegedly in an official car of the excise department.

Wayanad District police chief R Elango said that an FIR has been filed based on preliminary information and investigations have begun.

"We will check if she has followed procedures in obtaining a pass and if she made any false claim to get the pass."

As per preliminary information the woman came in an excise official's car from Thamarassery (Kozhikode) to Muthunga(Wayanad), he said. Her mode of transport before that--from Thiruvananthapuram to Wayanad--will also be investigated, he said, adding they have no information if she has reached Delhi.

"We will track down her movement," he said Meanwhile, theWayanad district administration has intensified the lockdown protocol from Thursday to prevent people's movement within and from outside the district/state.

Interception at all the check posts on district an state borders of the district, bordering Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, will also be intensified. No one would be allowed to travel frequently to and fro the district under the pretext of official duty.

Wayanad collector Adhila Abdulla said officials from outside the district will no longer be allowed to commute daily.

"Elderly people above the age of 65 should confine to their homes unless it is extremely urgent or unavoidable. Cases will be registered against family members who allow elderly people to go out for buying medicines and other essentials," she said.

Senior citizens, who live alone, can call either the Fire (101) or Police (100) departments for any help and to get things they need, the collector said.

Whatever relaxations were in place have also been withdrawn with effect from Thursday, she added.

Wayanad and Thiruvananthapuram come under the "Orange B" zone where there are some relaxations.

However, Thiruvananthapuram city limits falls under the hotspot area.

Police said a case was also registered against a doctor and her husband who entered Kerala from Tamil Nadu border.

Varanasi, Jan 20: An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons for a controversial hoarding near the Varanasi railway station. It is worth mentioning here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is the MP of Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency.

The hoarding near the Englishiya Line crossing read, "Hindu dharma mein ghar vapasi karo... CAA, NRC se chhutkara pao (Get rid of CAA, NRC by converting to Hinduism)".

Inspector Ashutosh Ojha said that the FIR under section 295 A and 505 of IPC has been lodged.

"Investigation has been launched in the case and those involved in putting up the hoarding would be identified soon," he added.

According to sources, a lesser known outfit, Hindu Samaj Party, had placed the hoarding on the busy road.

The outfit's state Vice President Roshan Pandey had made a video viral on social media with his message in which he claimed to have put up the hoarding in response to the protest being staged at Shaheen Bagh, New Delhi.

The hoarding, which also has photographs of some Muslim women wearing saffron pagdi, was removed by the police late Saturday evening.

It came up at a time when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Smriti Irani and other leaders were in Varanasi to address a rally in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University.

Pandey, along with his supporters, had also tried to stage a sit-in at Lanka to give a call for marching to Shaheen Bagh in Delhi but was prevented by the police.

They were taken in custody and were later released following initial interrogation, said inspector Lanka, Bharat Bhushan.
