Mysuru, Jan 15: Karnataka BJP president and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa is highly confident of forming a BJP government in the state soon, according a former minister and present MLA from Mysuru region.

“It is possible to topple the JD(S)-Congress coalition government. But, as on Tuesday afternoon, nothing is concrete. If nothing happens by evening, it is over,” the MLA was quoted as saying by a newspaper on condition of anonymity.

“Yesterday, we had left for New Delhi in the noon. We had plans to visit the ailing seer of Siddaganga mutt Shivakumara Swami. But suddenly, we were diverted to the resort. Our routine is dull. The resort is in a village. Even if we go out, there is nothing. I am engaged in monitoring the pending and ongoing works in my constituency and district. Some of the MLAs are just chatting and are whiling away their time,” he said.

He said that the stay is comfortable, but confinement is difficult even under comforts. “It is unfortunate that the BJP could not come to power despite emerging as the single largest party. But, the hardships the MLAs have to undergo to come to power is worrisome. It is going to be tight rope balancing, even if Yeddyurappa becomes chief minister,” he said.

Yudiyurappa , now 76, if he wait five years to complete means 81, even if BJP gets majority after five years his health condition may not allow to lead the govt.... probably this created more disturbance to his mind to do all these dramas.
