Mysuru, Aug 4: Former Karnataka JDS President A H Vishwanath, who was disqualified recently by the Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar for violating party's whip, on Sunday declared that he will retire from election politics.
Speaking to newsmen here on Sunday, he said that neither the rebel MLAs nor BJP was responsible for fall of the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in the State. He alleged that the government fell due to disgrantulness among the leaders of the Congress and JDS leaders.
He said that he resigned from the MLA post as well as the JD(S) State President post due to humiliation meted out to him by the party leaders.
