Mangaluru, Nov 16: In a good Samaritan gesture, an Indian Entrepreneur based in Abu Dhabi, had donated rupees 15 lakhs for construction of shelter for the newly born five tiger cubs at the Pilikula Biological Park, here on Friday.
According to official sources, Ramadas Kamath and his wife Jayashri Kamath, having their businesses in Abu Dhabi, had donated funds towards providing shelter to the newly born five tiger cubs in Pilikula Biological park located in the outskirts of the city.
Bengaluru, Jul 13: Karnataka Minister CT Ravi has tested positive for COVID-19. However, his wife and staff members have tested negative.
"Yesterday, I along with my wife Pallavi and my staff members underwent COVID-19 test. Fortunately, my wife Pallavi and all my staff members are tested negative. Third umpire's result for me has confirmed that I'm COVID Positive. However, I'm feeling absolutely fine," Ravi tweeted.
"For now, I'll continue to work from here and undergo treatment. Very soon, I'll get cured and come back to work with you all," he added.
So far, Karnataka has reported 36,216 COVID-19 cases, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Shivamogga, May 12: Roopa Praveen Rao, an expectant mother and a nurse at a hospital in Shivamogga's Karnataka, has chosen to continue to serve the patients amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Rao who hails from Gajanuru village is nine months pregnant and works at Jayachamarajendra Government Hospital as a nurse.
She travels every day to Thirthahalli taluk to attend to the patients at the hospital.
"The taluk hospital is surrounded by many villages, people need our service. My seniors had asked me to take leave but I want to serve people. I work six hours a day," she told news agency.
She added that Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa too called her up and appreciated her dedication and suggested that she should take rest.
Rao is one of the many frontline COVID-19 warriors who have been risking their lives to ensure that everyone stays safe as the country fights the coronavirus.
Udupi, Mar 6: District Health Officer Sudheer Chandra said that health department had compiled a list of foreigners visiting the Temple town Udupi and ensure that they are not infected with Coronavirus.
Addressing media persons at District Government Hospital in Ajjarkad on Friday, he said the Isolation Unit set up with five beds to treat the new Coronavirus infection includes two beds with Ventilator facility. Isolation wards with three beds were set up in Kundapur and Karkala taluks to treat the affected.
In order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, Committees were formed at District and Taluk level, he added.

yes. i have seen many. sitting only in workplace and home wont give that kind of scenes. u should visit jungle. atleastu shud watch animal planet or discovery channel. we, human being wont help them and we used to hunt them also.
