Bengaluru, May 18: Amid diversified statements among the coalition partner JD(S) and Congress parties, Karnataka Minister Krishna Byregowda said that his party was not averse to go before the people but said, "Our present focus is to give good governance".
Sharply reacting to the suggestion of the JD(S) senior leader Basavaraj Horatti, who had suggested for dissolution of the Karnataka Assembly, the minister said that "Our immediate focus is to discharge our ministerial duties and attend the grievances of the people of the state".
However maintaining that Congress party was never shy of going before the people, he said, "Such situation has not arrived now".
