Dr Kaup Mohammed honoured with International Quality Award-2019 for Excellence in Education

Bengaluru, Aug 19: Dr. Kaup Mohamed, the Dean and MD of London American City College – UAE and Adjunct Professor of Madonna University, Michigan, USA was conferred with an International Quality Award for Excellence in Education 2019 at the India Education Award 2019 held at Taj West End Bangalore.

The Award which was initiated by Blind Wink – Marketing Research Organization and deal with Research, Branding, Media and Films was conferred to Dr. Kaup Mohammed by Film Actress Soha Ali Khan.

Dr. Kaup spoke at the Education Conference about implementing a good parenting and family policies. He also mentioned that Education and academic profile should be complete before taking up any work at the real world industrial situation.

Stressing upon complete education till Master’s degree, Dr. Kaup said that an educational profile is considered complete only after a student has a Master’s Degree program completed.

“The knowledge and education needs to be completed as per the minimum designated term that is for Bachelor’s minimum 3 to 4 years and for Master’s minimum 2 years and for Doctorate minimum 2 to 3 years depending upon the area of specialization” Dr. Kaup said while expressing dissent over the illegal and wrong means of getting fake degrees that the students are resorting to.

“By giving (Charity) to someone, will never reduce the wealth, in fact one will enhance is reputation, and in turn will increase once wealth.  He said giving people will provide you with the psychological and mental satisfaction” Dr. Kaup said while advising students and audience to also look after the poor section of the society and to also contribute to the society and community as a responsible citizen.

Hailing from Udupi, Dr. Kaup Mohammed is a member of Beary community.

New Delhi, Apr 15: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday urged the government to organise flights to bring back Indian workers stuck in the Middle East and desperate to return.

He said the workers are in deep distress there due to shutting of businesses in the Middle East due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The Covid19 crisis and shutting of businesses in the Middle East have left thousands of Indian workers in deep distress and desperate to return home.

"The Government must organise flights to bring home our brothers and sisters most in need of assistance, with quarantine plans in place," he said on Twitter.

Bengaluru, April 7: Karnataka government on Monday allowed bakeries and related product food units in the state to open and function with minimum staff amid a coronavirus nation-wide lockdown.

A circular issued by Rajendar Kumar Kataria, Secretary to the government said, "The Central government has permitted the functioning of food units engaged in bakery and biscuit, condiments, confectionery and sweet for manufacturing, supply and operating retail outlets with minimum staff/labour."

The circular said these units shall strictly follow the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Department of Health and Family Welfare, Karnataka government with regard to the preventive measures to be ensured for combating COVID-19.

"It is stated that all employers shall ensure that these units maintain high standard of health, hygiene, sanitation and social distancing. The units shall not permit serving/dining in the premises and only parcel/takeaways are permitted," the circular added.

Udupi, Jun 20: The wife and daughter of a 54-year-old man who succumbed to Covid-19, tested positive for the virus on Saturday.

Sources said that the family returned to Udupi on June 18 and the man died the same day while his wife and daughter tested positive today.

The man and his family had arrived at their house in Thekkatte on Thursday, June 18 afternoon. Later in the day, the man died. He was suffering from jaundice and had arrived from Mumbai in the state of illness.
