Mangaluru, May 17: Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadikari of Sri Keshtra Manjunatha Dharmastala today appealed to the devotees to postpone their visit as the Centre is facing acute water shortage.
In his appeal on Friday, he said that the pilgrim Centre, to which thousands of devotees visit daily, is facing severe water problem due to shortage of water storage in Netravati River as the onset of Monsoon rain is delayed in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka.
This may be, in the recent past, the Dharmadikari making such an appeal to the devotees, due to water shortage.
