Equality, cooperation must in India; friction will not work: RSS chief

Bengaluru, Jan 11: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has now admitted that one cannot achieve anything through friction in a diverse society.

Speaking at the valedictory of Swarnanjali, a national ‘Ghosh’ camp of the RSS here, on Sunday Bhagwat said that it was important to treat everyone as equals and emphasised the importance of coordination and cooperation in a diverse society like India, instead of friction.

Over 3,000 people, including top BJP leaders D?V Sadananda Gowda, Ananth Kumar, B?S Yeddyurappa and former ISRO chairman K. Radhakrishnan participated in the event.

“Since we are a diverse society, you cannot achieve anything through friction. All we need is coordination and cooperation at all levels,” he said.

The uniting factor of India’s diverse society was its culture, he said and called for accepting the diversities. Other countries, which had diverse societies, needed uniformity to ensure unity. But such uniformity was not a mandatory need for uniting Indian society, he noted. “In Indian society, one has become all and all have become one,” he remarked.

He maintained that only Indian values can show the way forward for the country as well as the world. Describing Indian values as “complete and time-tested ones”, he said even the concept of sustainable living had come from Indian culture.

Mr. Bhagwat called upon people to strengthen Indian values and dedicate one hour a day for the welfare of the country.

He claimed that everyone in India was a Hindu as they were part of the unique culture, irrespective of whether they accept it or not.

He is right, One who lived near the indus valley are called Hindu (geographic name). As religion we are divided into Muslim / Christian.

All the top Chiefs of RSS & BJP are Brahamins. Still following that Brahmin superiority system. Now just trying to bluff people by giving a pleasant statement.

Mohan Bhagwat is not a rishi. He is not qualified to decide on how Hinduism should be changed.

He is planning for Ayodhya and giving hint to cooperate. Still he didnot forget to mention that all those living in India are Hindus but he forgot the fact that Aryans came India from Germany and nearby countries.

Actually Allmost all leaders of Sangh parivar knows very well that RSS theories will not last long untill it keeps on their lies..........so sometimes like Mr.Sudarshan who went to Eidgah on morning. if you remember......and some time Advani's in law admitted that the Idols gifted to him was melted and made utensils for his home use !!!!!!!!!!!

so also if one asks RSS about what religion they follow....they will not say HINDU but they say Hindu culture........................its a clear form of ISIS in India...as Hinduism never say to kill an innocent women and rape....

Hindu is not a religion, every person who lives in India is called hindu...ghar wapasi doesn't work here....live with dignity and respect...that is what it is required by every citizens of India...

Now its your job to teach your bajrangi and various sangh pariwar to get rid all terrorism activities around....

Siddaramaiah opposes amendment to Land Reforms Act

Bengaluru, Jun 17: The Opposition leader in the Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah on Wednesday strongly urged Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to desist from invoking amendment to the Land Reforms Act, saying it would make buying land easier for the corporate companies and the rich.

In a hard-hitting letter to the Chief Minister, a copy of which was released to the media, the Congress leader had urged to rescind the decision from amending to the Karnataka Land Reforms Act and also Agriculture Produces Marketing Committee Act.

Asserting that the state government's move was only intending to help to the land grabbers, Siddaramaiah, also the former chief minister, said easing of restrictions to buy land to the tune of over 216 acres per individual would sound a death knell to the farm sector.

Eid al-Fitr on Sunday, May 24 in coastal Karnataka

Mangaluru/Udupi, May 22: Two prominent Qadhis of coastal Karnataka today declared that Eid al-Fitr will be observed in the region on Sunday, May 24.

Twaqa Ahmed Musliyar, the Qadhi of Mangaluru and Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal, Qadhi of Udupi Samyukta Jamaat in their separate statements made this announcement.

The decision was taken as there was no news of new moon sighting in the coastal region today.

Ullal Qadhi Qurrathussadath Seyyid Fazal Koyamma Thangal Al Bukhari also announced that 24th May is first of Shawwal and Eid al Fithr will be celebrated on that day.

Moon sighting for the start of the month of Ramazan, for end of fastings- Eidul Fitr, for the month of Hajj and Muharram:

The moon sighting is so easy. We the people of India and have Indian Standard Time all.over India.

When we can accept the moon sighting in Delhi and announcement from Delhi as it was during times of Radio and Doordarshan news, why can we not accept the sighting of moon in coastal region of Karnataka and in Kerala?

Let us bring about change for good.

Why is rest of Karnataka or India not joining for Eid with coastal region and kerala? At the time of Radio and Dorrdarshan only days, all of India used to wait for 8.00 pm news for updates of moon sighting. So why not accept the moon signing witnesses in Kerala or coastal region?

I request all Indians to accept the witnessing of Moon sighting in any area of India and start and end Fasting.

I opposed Cong-JDS tie-up during LS polls; high command didn't hear me: Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Jul 9: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Wednesday said that he was opposed to a tie-up with Janata Dal-Secular in the last Lok Sabha elections but the party high command did not listen to him.

"I had suggested that we should fight alone (in Lok Sabha elections) because JD-S votes would not have come to us and our votes would not have gone to JD-S," Siddaramaiah told reporters here.

Congress leader said that he was the only one to make the suggestion and he did not get support.

"I was the only one to raise a voice that's why it was not heard by (party) high command and I did not get support. We might have won over seven seats in parliament election if we had fought alone," he said.

After forming government in Karnataka in 2018 with support of JD-S, Congress had fought the 2019 general election in a pre-poll alliance with the party. Congress could only one seat of the 21 it contested and JD-S also won one seat of the seven it contested.
