Bengaluru, Jan 11: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has now admitted that one cannot achieve anything through friction in a diverse society.

rssSpeaking at the valedictory of Swarnanjali, a national ‘Ghosh’ camp of the RSS here, on Sunday Bhagwat said that it was important to treat everyone as equals and emphasised the importance of coordination and cooperation in a diverse society like India, instead of friction.

Over 3,000 people, including top BJP leaders D?V Sadananda Gowda, Ananth Kumar, B?S Yeddyurappa and former ISRO chairman K. Radhakrishnan participated in the event.

“Since we are a diverse society, you cannot achieve anything through friction. All we need is coordination and cooperation at all levels,” he said.

The uniting factor of India’s diverse society was its culture, he said and called for accepting the diversities. Other countries, which had diverse societies, needed uniformity to ensure unity. But such uniformity was not a mandatory need for uniting Indian society, he noted. “In Indian society, one has become all and all have become one,” he remarked.

He maintained that only Indian values can show the way forward for the country as well as the world. Describing Indian values as “complete and time-tested ones”, he said even the concept of sustainable living had come from Indian culture.

Mr. Bhagwat called upon people to strengthen Indian values and dedicate one hour a day for the welfare of the country.

He claimed that everyone in India was a Hindu as they were part of the unique culture, irrespective of whether they accept it or not.

All the top Chiefs of RSS & BJP are Brahamins. Still following that Brahmin superiority system. Now just trying to bluff people by giving a pleasant statement.

Mohan Bhagwat is not a rishi. He is not qualified to decide on how Hinduism should be changed.

Enlightened after Bihar debacle.
He is planning for Ayodhya and giving hint to cooperate. Still he didnot forget to mention that all those living in India are Hindus but he forgot the fact that Aryans came India from Germany and nearby countries.

Actually Allmost all leaders of Sangh parivar knows very well that RSS theories will not last long untill it keeps on their lies..........so sometimes like Mr.Sudarshan who went to Eidgah on morning. if you remember......and some time Advani's in law admitted that the Idols gifted to him was melted and made utensils for his home use !!!!!!!!!!!

so also if one asks RSS about what religion they follow....they will not say HINDU but they say Hindu culture........................its a clear form of ISIS in India...as Hinduism never say to kill an innocent women and rape....

Bengaluru, Jan 16: Senior Congress leader K J George on Thursday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate officials here in connection with a FEMA case.

The former minister is being investigated by the ED for probable violation of provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act.

The ED had recently issued summons to George.

Speaking to reporters after appearing before the ED, George said he has answered to the officials' queries and will cooperate further also.

"ED had issued me summons, as a law abiding citizen, I have answered and gave documents to whatever they asked.

Further also if they call me...I will cooperate and provide necessary documents," he said, without divulging any details.

George clarified that no summons has been issued by the ED to members of his family.

"If required they (ED officials) will call me again, and I'm ready to cooperate," the congress leader added.

Last year, the president of the Karnataka Rashtra Samithi Ravi Krishna Reddy had complained to the ED seeking a probe into the alleged money laundering and properties held by George and his family members in the United States.

Responding to a question about a defamation case filed by him against those who have levelled the allegations, George said "Just because ED has called me for questioning, I'm not proved guilty."

"Anyone can complain to agencies like the Income Tax or ED or Lokayukta, but my only objection is with going to the press to project someone as guilty," he said.

"...going to the press with an intention to do a propaganda against me..someone who is in public life-- to project me as guilty is wrong, so I have filed defamation case stating the allegations are false," he added.

George is the third senior Congress leader from Karnataka to face an ED probe after D K Shivakumar and B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan.

Shivakumar was arrested by the agency in a money laundering case and was kept in Tihar Jail, until he got bail in October, while Khan was summoned in connection with the multi-crore IMA group Ponzi scam case.

Mangaluru, Jul 24: Parents in Dakshina Kannada are urging the educational institutions to reduce fees at least by 75% as most of the infrastructure and resources are not being utilized due to online classes.

“School campuses are now closed. Why we have to pay such a heavy fee when our children are not availing the facilities offered on campus?” asks a Sapna (name changed), a parent, whose two daughters study at a prestigious private school in Mangaluru.

Even though some schools considered as small players have reduced fees, most of the “prestigious” institutions in the Mangaluru have so far refused to give any discount.

“Apart from paying school fees, now we have to invest in gadgets, internet connections and accessories required for online classes. School administration can use their infrastructure and facilities for other purposes as students are not utilizing them. Hence, they must give us maximum discount during this pandemic,” said another parent.

On the other hand, many parents are facing a dire financial situation due to covid-19 lockdown – while some have suffered losses in their business some have lost their jobs.

Many parents have even approached the education department to ensure that they get a discount in fees from educational institutions, said Dakshina Kannada DDPI Malleswamy.

“We cannot do anything since a government circular has asked educational institutions not to hike fees, which they have not done, and reduce fees if possible, which will never happen. The department is acting against only those schools that forcefully collect fees,” the DDPI said.

Bengaluru, Jun 18: The Karnataka police has arrested a German national wanted for kidnapping and causing bodily harm to a person in his home country, an official said on Wednesday. The person was also found to be overstaying on an expired visa, which police said that it appeared that the visa had been tampered with to look more current.

"On receipt of credible information by the CID Interpol Division officers, the Red Corner Notice subject, the German national Alexander Bruno Wehnelt, was traced at Hulimangala village," a police official told media persons.

Hulimangala is on the outskirts of Bengaluru city.

Alexander, 55, escaped from Germany and took shelter in Bengaluru.

The Interpol Division of CBI NCB (Central Bureau of Intelligence, Narcotics Control Bureau) in New Delhi had communicated to the Interpol liaison officer in Karnataka's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) about Alexander, directing extensive search measures to trace the criminal at large.

The Narcotics Control Bureau of Wiesbaden in Germany was on the hunt for Wehnelt for the crimes he committed in 2015, and have finally found him five years later.

"A special team of officers was constituted by the CID - Interpol division under the supervision of ADGP (Additional Director General of Police) B. Dayananda and the Interpol liaison officer and efforts were made to trace the subject," said the official.

On Monday, the police received credible information leading to his arrest.

"It was learnt that his visa had expired in 2016 and he tried to show a visa which was issued in December 2019 which had expired on Saturday, June 13," said the official.

Prima facie, it appeared that Alexander had tampered with his visa and the police are probing on that front as well.

He was handed over to Hebbagodi Police Station in Bengaluru Urban, for his overstay and a criminal case has been registered against him, under the Foreigners Act.
