A 27-year-old man was beaten up and thrown off the balcony on the fourth floor of a residential building in Sushant Lok in Gurgaon in the weekend evening after he was caught with his teenaged girlfriend. The man, allegedly attacked by some relatives of the teenager, succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

fbloveThe victim, Ishwar alias Nishant, ran a garment shop in Jehangirpuri in Delhi. According to the police, Ishwar came in contact with the 18-year-old girl over Facebook some six months ago and the two became good friends.

They decided to meet on February 13 and Ishwar reached Gurgaon via metro. The girl was present at the HUDA metro station and the two went to her flat in Sushant Lok. The girl, who originally hails from Rajashan, works at a beauty parlour.

Around 8-30 p.m., the girl’s brother-in-law and his friend came to the flat and found the two together. The two men -- Ramesh and Anil -- allegedly beat up Ishwar and threw him off the balcony of the flat.

“Fearing that he might die, the duo rushed Ishwar to Sunrise Hospital on Khandsa Road and told the hospital authorities that he had met with a road accident. The hospital informed the police control room after the man succumbed to his injuries.

On sustained interrogation, the girl spilled the beans and the two were arrested,” said Station House Officer, Sushant Lok, Sandeep Singh.

Anil (25) is a resident of Mahendergarh, while Ramesh (30) belongs to Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. Ishwar was married for two years and did not have any children.

His wedding anniversary was on February 14, said the police.

A case has been registered against the two men under Sections 302 (murder), 201 (disappearance of evidence) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.

Muhammad, Kumar , Kunil, and Jabir,

The victim died because the killers decided to kill him. Not because he was using FB. I use FB too, but I am still alive. The killers did not use FB/tech to kill him.
