Mysuru, May 8: The Karnataka Rajya Ritha Sangha and Hasiru Sene on Wednesday demanded the state government to bring out a white paper on the farmers loan waiver scheme alleging that the coalition government was spreading lies on this issue.
Speaking to newsmen state president Badagalapura Nagendra said chief minister H D Kumraswamy claims that six lakh farmers had benefited from the scheme. ‘’Let the government release the actual figures immediately as to how many farmers benefited from the loan waivers and what is the amount of loan that has been waived off’’, he added.
Stating that the state is facing worst drought situation but the government has failed to take any concrete and effective action. Instead of working in this direction, the chief minister and other ministers are enjoying resorts in the name of 'panchakarama' treatment, he alleged.
