Happy birthday Aaradhya!

November 16, 2014

AaradhyaMumbai, Nov 16: Three years ago, the nation waited with baited breath as one of India’s most beautiful and loved women, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan went into labour and then it was official… “It’s a girl!!!,” an excited dad Abhishek tweeted.

Born in one of the most influential families of the film industry, Aaradhya Bachchan turns three today. Right from her birth, this tiny tot has had the media mesmerized as cameras tried hard to get a glimpse of the little beauty. Young as she is, Aaradhya Bachchan is quite the globetrotter, accompanying her beautiful mother to various international dos. All of 3, the little princess has already made it to the International Cannes Film Festival thrice. Last year, Aaradhya’s arrival at Cannes was more talked about than her famous celebrity mother.

Not only does she enjoy the luxuries of travel at such a young age, but this baby girl is already quite a fashionista as she keeps up with her famous parents. Always dressed in the cutest of outfits with the matching socks and shoes, tights with boots and not to mention the frilly eye-catching hair accessories. The star baby is quite the Suri Cruise of Bollywood.

Aaradhya Bachchan also has friends in extremely high places and she’s known to rub shoulders with the crème de la crème of not only B-Town but the nation. She recently received a special birthday gift from none other than West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Reportedly, the CM sent her a pretty pink dress as a birthday gift.

We hear, one of her favourite pals is none other than Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. Apparently the little one had a ball of a time playing with Aamir Khan and his son Azad Rao on the sets of ‘Dhoom 3’ in Chicago.

Since Aaradhya’s arrival, mom Aishwarya has limited her public appearances. For mom Aishwarya’s 41st birthday earlier this month (November 2), Aaradhya sang ‘Happy Birthday’ just like last year. She also made a special birthday card for her mother.

Aishwarya who met the media on her birthday, revealed that she is indeed planning Aaradhya’s birthday. Last year, Aishwarya hosted a special fairytale themed children’s bash at Pratiksha. The entire place was decorated with lights and cutouts of butterflies and animated creatures.

Reports are that Aishwarya has also invited SRK’s youngest son AbRam for Aaradhya’s birthday party.

Los Angeles, Mar 24: In a bizarre video shot from her rose petal filled bathtub, pop star Madonna has called the coronavirus pandemic "a great equaliser".

The music icon said the virus doesn't discriminate between rich and poor.

That's the thing about COVID-1. It doesn't care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell.

It's the great equaliser and what's terrible about it is what's great about it. What's terrible about it is that it's made us all equal in many ways, and what's wonderful about is, is that it's made us all equal in many ways, Madonna said in the video while having a milky bath in tub full of roses.

The 61-year-old singer, who had to cancel two of her concerts in Paris due to coronavirus outbreak, also referenced her 1995 song Human Nature in the video saying we are all going down together .

According to the Johns Hopkins coronavirus tracker, the death toll from the virus globally has risen to 14,641 with 336,000 cases reported in 173 countries and territories.

Artist Swapnil Pawar transformed Khurrana into the 'Joker' through his artwork which the actor posted on his Instagram.

"Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it ... I'm an Agent of Chaos!" Khurrana quoted a famous dialogue from the film 'Joker' in the caption.

The 35-year-old actor, who hasn't played an outright negative role in his career further revealed his fascination for negative characters in the caption.

"Sinister, menacing, evil, cold, conniving yet brilliant, genius - have always thought of playing a negative character like Joker. Thank you @swapnilmpawar for reading my mind and this incredible artwork!" he wrote.

Khurrana believes that though it is good to portray different roles and he would love to play a negative character but the message at the end should be positive.

"I will be happy to play a negative character. I would love to play a morally corrupt person. That will be out of my realm. But the message, at the end of the day, should be positive. I don't want to endorse wrongdoings on screen," he said.

The new look of the 'Article 15' actor won hearts as the post was flooded with scores of comments from his fans.

Los Angeles, Mar 6: Filmmaker-writer Taika Waititi is set to direct two animated series based on Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" for Netflix.

Waititi, who won an Academy Award in February for his adapted screenplay, "Jojo Rabbit", will also serve as the writer and producer on the animated series.

According to Deadline, the first series will be based on the world of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", while the second will be an original take on the Oompa-Loompa characters from the book.

The Oompa-Loompas are little humans who were preyed upon in Loompaland before Wonka invited them to work at his chocolate factory. They are paid in cocoa beans and love practical jokes and singing songs.

Netflix said the animation series would "retain the quintessential spirit and tone of the original story while building out the world and characters far beyond the pages of the Dahl book for the very first time."

The series will follow in the footsteps of Gene Wilder's 1971 portrayal of Willy Wonka and Johnny Depp's 2005 interpretation.
