Mumbai, Oct 13:  She may have made her acting debut along side Aamir Khan in 'Dangal', but actor Zaira Wasim said she has not seen any of the films of the superstar.

In last year's 'Dangal', Zaira played the role of a young Geeta Phogat and earned a National Award for her performance.

The 16-year-old, however, says acting was something she never aimed for.

"I was never so inclined to this profession. It isn't like I wanted to be an actress. I am still the kind of a person who doesn't watch films.

"I cannot sit through a whole film. The last film I saw was 'Dangal'. In fact, I've not seen much AK (Aamir Khan) film's. I don't think I've seen any of it," Zaira told PTI.

In her second Bollywood outing 'Secret Superstar', Zaira has teamed up with Aamir again.

"The equation has changed and obviously grown. Even before 'Dangal', I was very close to him, all the girls were, now he has become (like a) family," she said about the 52-year-old actor.

"He is intimidating as a person. But it wasn't that I would die to work with him because I never wanted to be an actress. I never had something to be driven to (referring to acting as a profession). I am still exploring myself," she added.

Zaira said post her successful debut, things have not changed much for her and she still lives a normal life.

"People back home look at me exactly in the same way they used to a year back. Those are the people who helped me come this far. I can't throw tantrums in front of them. They are very proud of me for sure.

"Not much has changed, but there's so much love. Every time I am out, people come and click pictures, they talk to me, they want to know what's going on (referring to her upcoming projects), but apart from that life is the same."

Zaira said she is aware that she can't afford to take the success to her head.

"I know for a fact how important being humble is. There is no definition of success, it isn't that I've achieved everything. If I take this to my head, I could fall. I know that this could be a phase and there's a lot I need to see."

Written and directed by Advait Chandan, 'Secret Superstar' chronicles the story of a teenage girl who aspires to be a singer. The film is scheduled to release on October 19.

Los Angeles, Jun 26: Warner Bros has moved its Christopher Nolan-directed espionage thriller Tenet from July 31 to August 12.

It's the second delay for the highly-anticipated movie, which was originally scheduled to release on July 17 but was postponed to July 31 due to coronavirus pandemic.

Warner Bros. is committed to bringing Tenet' to audiences in theaters, on the big screen, when exhibitors are ready and public health officials say it's time. In this moment what we need to be is flexible, and we are not treating this as a traditional movie release.

We are choosing to open the movie mid-week to allow audiences to discover the film in their own time, and we plan to play longer, over an extended play period far beyond the norm, to develop a very different yet successful release strategy, a Warner Bros spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline.

The studio has also delayed the US re-release of Nolan's sci-fi blockbuster Inception, in honour of the film's 10th anniversary, to July 31.

Tenet features John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Caine, Clemence Poesy, Dimple Kapadia and Himesh Patel.

Mumbai, Jun 17: A lawyer on Wednesday moved a criminal complaint against 8 persons, including Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and producer-director Karan Johar, in a local court regarding the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The court had fixed July 3 as the next date of hearing.

In his complaint filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha alleged that these eight persons forced Sushant to commit suicide under a conspiracy which, he pleaded, amounted to murder.

Others named in the complaint are Aditya Chopra, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, and director Dinesh.

The complainant claimed that these persons did not let Sushant's movies get released under a conspiracy and the late actor was not even invited to film functions because of these people.

Ojha said that Sushant Singh Rajput's death had not only hurt the people of Bihar but the entire country.

He said the complaint had been filed under Sections 306, 109, 504 and 506 and Bollywood actor Kangana Ranawat had been listed as a witness in the case.

Sushant Singh Rajput had allegedly committed suicide at his Bandra flat in Mumbai on Sunday.
