Bengaluru, Feb 1: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy lauded the efforts of the State Police who took measures to bring the notorious underworld operator Ravi Pujari to the books.
Speaking to newsmen here on Friday, he said that he had directed the Senior police officials to bring to an end to the menace of Ravi Pujari, who was allegedly sending threatening calls to builders, Industrialists and others make extortion demand over the years.
Stating that he had also brought to the notice of the Union Home ministry about Ravi Pujari and sought help to nab the culprit, he said that “the combined efforts of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and the Union government had paid off now. Karnataka Police will take the custody of Ravi Pujari soon”.
