Hidaya Foundation Jubail unit holds its first public meeting

Jubail Dec 15: The first ever get-together of Jubail unit of the Hidaya Foundation (HF) was held at Marafiq beach camp here on December 12.

In his welcome address, HF Jubail unit president Ismail Ullal urged the gathering to spend some time on charity works. “Today, we are often constrained to our own domestic affairs. We think of brightening our own future. But there are people who have to fight for their everyday needs. They have few resources to struggle against their extreme poverty,” he said.

HF founder H K Khasim Ahmed briefed the audience about the activities of his organization through power-point presentation.

Zakariya Muzein, a well-known businessman, philanthropist and a leader of Mangalorean community also addressed the gathering.

Hanief Haji Goltamajal, Asif deals and Mohammed Al Muthairy were present on the dais.

Enthusiast children took part in various activities including drawing competition, Quran recitation competition and the speech competition on Prophet (pbuh).

Outdoor games such as volleyball, football tiebreaker and kabaddi were conducted in the evening. Fun games were organized on the occasion. Women volunteers of HF Jubail unit conducted games for women and children separately.

Attractive prizes were distributed to the participants.

Team of Gulf Asia Medical Center hosted a free health check-up camp during the event.

Among the HF Jubail unit members Mohammed Imran Hertz and Mohammed Iqbal were awarded as the best performer for the year 2013.

The programme commenced with the recitation of Quranic verses by Master Adnan. Mohammed Ashraf Amaco compered the programme. Vice president of HF Jubail unit Fahim Akthar proposed vote of thanks.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Dubai, May 20: Dubai-based Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club’s humanitarian services in charge Naseer Karaje team have appreciated the efforts of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru Airport director, NGOs of Mangaluru, and MLA for extending a royal welcome to second batch of repatriates from Dubai that landed at Mangaluru Airport on May 18.

There was so much of confusions when 1st batch of repatriation flight landed in Mangaluru airport on 12th May due to lack of proper arrangements and co ordination.

This time due to proper arrangements and special supervision by the DC everything was driven smoothly. It has given a confidence to all the Manglurean expats of Dubai in returning to their native places, the KSCC said.
