Home Care Physiotherapy launched in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Aug 25: Home Care Physiotherapy, a health care company which will provide a complete home care and clinical health service was launched today at A.P.S Complex, Kankanady-Falnir Road in Mangaluru. It is one of its kind and first in the coastal city.

U T Khader, Minister for food and civil supply and consumer affairs department, was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony. Prof. Dr. L.Gladson Jose ( Principal, Dr. M.V. Shetty College of Physiotherapy), Dr. Mohammed Suhail (Principal, Kanachur College Of Physiotherapy), Dr. Rahimat  (Principal, Tejeshwani college of physiotherapy), Dr. Sharath C. (Asst. Prof. , Shridevi college of physiotherapy), Dr. Busheera Banu, Dr. Sushant, Dr. Bhuvan, Dr. Anuj were also present.

The director of this company Dr. Showket Ahmad Dar (PT), welcomed the Hon'ble  chief guest. During the inaguration the official website of the Home Care Physiotherapy was also launched. This website will enable the client to book appointment with the specialist.

The services provided by this company are Physiotherapy, Family Physician, Elderly Care, Home care for cancer patient, palliative care, councelling services & Speech & hearing in one single roof, thus making it one of its kind in Mangalore. Through this company patients will be able get advanced health care services at their comfortable home and also at a well-equipped clinic. The company will also providing free home based health care services to BPL patients in Mangaluru.

The ceremony was concluded by presenting token of gratitude to the honorable chief guest and other dignitaries present there.

Congrats.... when opening a clinic,pz see if sufficient car park and lift is available, or else it's inconvenient to the patients....

Kalaburagi, Apr 20: With no COVID-19 case reported here on Sunday, the total number of virus-infected people in the district stood at 22.

While three persons have succumbed to the infection in the district so far, three others have been cured and discharged.

"No COVID-19 case was reported in Kalaburagi district today. Total 22 positive cases and 3 deaths have been reported in the district till date. Three persons have been cured," said District Magistrate B. Sharat.

Karnataka's total count of coronavirus patients has surged to 390, said the State Health Department on Sunday.

"Six new cases have been confirmed for COVID-19 in the State from 5 pm on Saturday till 5 pm on Sunday. Cumulatively, 390 COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in the state," it said.

Bengaluru, Jun 27: The Bengaluru Police Commissioner’s office on Infantry Road has been sealed after one of the staffers tested Covid-positive. It will remain shut from June 27 to 29. 

A senior police officer from the administrative department, in a media release, stated that almost the entire staff has been asked to work from home, while some have told to work from sub-divisions of DCP’s offices. 

It is said that one of the staffers, who recently reported for duty at Anti-Terror Cell (ATC), tested positive on Friday, and officials took a decision to seal the premises after the media got wind of it. 

Earlier, a function for Drug Observation Day too was held on the premises on Friday. The staff has not been asked to go on quarantine. 

Only a few staffers have been asked to come to the police control room situated in the same building.

Surathkal, Jan 4: The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have signed agreementsfor joint research and development of technology for application in space, a statement said here on Friday.

As part of the agreement, which was signed by P Venkatakrishnan, Director of ISRO CBPO Division and Prof Umamaheswar Rao, Director, NITK, ISRO will establish the Regional Academic Center for Space (RACS) at NITK.
