Mumbai, Jan 31: In her 15-year-long career, Kareena Kapoor Khan has seen both ups and downs, but the actor says her love for acting is what keeps her going.

The actor said the fact that she is getting the opportunity to do the work of her choice is her biggest achievement.

"I've never taken my success and my failure too seriously. I'm fine with it all. If the movie is a success then great if it's not that's also fine. I just love my job. The idea is in doing something that I love the most and that's acting and it is more important than success or failure. Most people don't get the opportunity to enjoy their job but I do and that is my achievement," Kareena told PTI.

After giving birth to son Taimur in December 2016, Kareena went on a maternity leave.

The child has already become a paparazzi favourite and the 37-year-old actor wants him to have a normal childhood.

"I just don't want him to be looked upon as a star-kid. I want him to grow up as normally as possible. I want to let him be just the way he is," Kareena said.

The actor is now looking forward to her next movie "Veere Di Wedding" alongside Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker.

"The film is about four women and it's an easy chick flick. It's a kind of film I'd want to say yes to. I am hoping for the best," she said on the sidelines of noted designer Anita Dongre's campaign #ANDiRISE, which talks about young women achievers from different walks of life.

Kareena said the campaign is about celebrating women who are breaking stereotypes.

"I feel the modern Indian woman plays diverse roles, lives her life to the fullest and fulfils her choice with confidence and style. She is the woman who creates her own destiny and is unstoppable. I believe in what I do and I have my own identity," she said.

The designer said she chose Kareena as her muse as the actor represents the effortless style.

Washington, May 18: Joining hands with the European Commission, actor Leonardo DiCaprio launched the Virunga Fund with seed money of USD 2 million to support Africa's Virunga National Park.

Since Virunga has lost a significant amount of revenue due to COVID shutdown post-March, the fund will be used to support the national park and the communities around, reported Variety.

The fund is aimed at disease prevention efforts, protection of mountain gorilla, and other species.

"I had the great honor of meeting and supporting Virunga's courageous team in their fight against illegal oil drilling in 2013," Variety quoted DiCaprio as saying.

"Virunga urgently needs funds to protect the endangered mountain gorilla population, to provide support to the rangers and the families of rangers who have fallen in the line of duty, and to help deliver essential disease prevention efforts. It's critical that we rally together during this time of incredible crisis," he added.

The 'Titanic' actor had earlier produced a Netflix documentary film 'Virunga' which is based on the national park.

Los Angeles, May 24: Filmmaker Frank Marshall, one of the producers behind Jurassic World: Dominion, says the forthcoming film is not a conclusion of the franchise.

Colin Trevorrow, who rebooted Steven Spielberg's blockbuster Jurassic Park franchise with 2015's Jurassic World, is back on the director's chair after sitting out on second movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018).

Asked about the upcoming movie, Marshall told Collider: "It's the start of a new era."

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are coming back for the third film, which will also feature original stars of 1993's Jurassic Park -- Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill.

The producer also revealed how he sees the film franchise extending into the future.

"The dinosaurs are now on the mainland amongst us, and they will be for quite some time, I hope," Marshall said.

The film was three weeks into production when it was shut down over coronavirus concerns, but the producer said the team has the sets built in London and will be "back in business" once they have guidelines from the British government.

Dominion is still slated to be released on its scheduled date of June 11, 2021.
