communalismMangaluru, Jan 25: Dinesh Amin Mattu, the media advisor to chief minister Siddaramaiah, has said that he condemned communalism cutting across religious and political groups.

Responding to Karnataka BJP spokesperson S Suresh Kumar’s demand for his resignation from the post of CM’s advisor for his remark on recent terror arrests, Mr Mattu said he is ready to quit if the former is ready to leave the communal party (BJP).

Reiterated his impartial approach in opposing communal polarization, Mr Mattu, who is also a former journalist, said that he not only opposed saffron outfits like RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal, but also raised voice against Social democratic Party of India and Popular Front of India.

Expressing pain over youth of Hindu and Muslim communities being attracted towards communalism, he pointed out that not only people like Azhar Mahmoud and Ajmal Kasab, but Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Swami Aseemanand, Col Purohit and Bhuvit Shetty are also enemies of humanity.

1 clarification,

PFI, SDPI are emerged to defend the communalism of all these RSS, VHP, BJP non-secular groups.

SDPI are definitely a secular minded political party. Getting more popularity amongst Dalits.

As Monu said, there is no comparision of crimes between

I wonder ......some time even secular minded people to show as secular use the comparison of Organizations such as PFI and SDPI to Fascist RSS , VHP and Bajrangdal.......there is no similarity between these ideologies............except organizing power and discipline .....

PFI never raped and killed innocent Indian citizens
PFI never indulged in anti anti national activities
PFI never took law into hands
PFI never wanted an Islamic state in INDIA
PFI always hoisted Indian national flag in all its programs
....etc etc etc

this is so sad to that second time Mr.Mattu used PFI and SDPI as shield to show secular face

Udupi, Jun 9: A Mesolithic site has been discovered at Iduru-Kunjadi in Kundapura taluk of Udupi district of Karnataka by Prof T Murugeshi, Associate Professor of Ancient History and Archaeology at MSRS College, Shirva.

Prof Murugeshi said on Tuesday that the site is near a rock art site of the Mesolithic period that was unearthed. It is located in the Mookambika Wildlife Reserve Forest. At Iduru-Kunjadi, the finds of Mesolithic tools are characterised by blades, scrapers, burine, fluted cores, arrow-heads and flakes of the non-geometric pattern.

He said that though the site was found two years back, it took time to study and identify them. They resembled the tools found in a stratified context at Uppinangady on the Netravati basin, he added.

The Ayodhya police booked a senior journalist on Wednesday for raising questions on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's visit to the Ram Janmabhoomi for a religious ceremony amid the lockdown over the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The FIR mentions a tweet by Siddharth Varadarajan, editor of news portal 'The Wire', where he said: "On the day the Tablighi Jamaat event was held, Adityanath insisted a large Ram Navami fair planned for Ayodhya from March 25 to April 2 would proceed as usual and that 'Lord Ram would protect devotees from the coronavirus."

Varadarajan had clarified in another tweet that it was "Acharya Paramhans, Hindutva stalwart and head of the official Ayodhya temple trust, who said Ram would protect devotees from coronavirus, and not Adityanath, though he allowed a public event on 25/3 in defiance of the lockdown and took part himself".

Taking the suo-motu cognizance, Faizabad Kotwali police station incharge Nitish Kumar Shrivastava registered an FIR under sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 505(2) (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code for doing "disreputable" comment against the chief minister.

Reacting to it, Varadarajan termed the FIR "politically motivated, saying that the offences invoked were not even remotely made out.
