Mumbai, Feb 11: After Salman Starrer hit “Kick” entered 200 Crore Club, Jacqueline Fernandez is certainly in a happy space. Even since Kick released, she has become a commercially bankable star.

"I am in a very happy space now because right from the day I signed Kick, there has not been a single day I have not been working. This is the life I always wanted" Says Jackie, She credits kick and Salman for bringing success in her career.

"Kick has definitely cemented my position in Bollywood. Kick re-launched my career. I became very confident with my performance after Kick" she further adds.

Salman Khan who's been by her side through thick and thin, to this Jacqueline says, "Salman has been very lucky for me. He is very inspiring. He genuinely supports me and he has believed in me and my work when I myself did not have so much confidence. He has given me a lot of confidence by signing me for Kick. He told me that I had worked hard and I deserved it. He has encouraged me and for all these things I owe Salman a lot", she smiled.

Jacqueline is all geared up with her upcoming release “Roy”. She is playing leading lady opposite Arjun Rampal and Ranbir kapoor.

Mumbai, Jul 12: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed actor Rekha’s bungalow in suburban Bandra after a security guard there tested positive for coronavirus, a civic official said on Sunday.

The guard at the 65-year-old actor’s bungalow ‘Sea Springs’ tested positive on Tuesday, the official said.

The BMC has put a board outside the premises declaring the are as a containment zone. The security guard has been hospitalised at the BMC’s COVID-19 care facility in Bandra Kurla Complex, he said.

As the bungalow is a standalone one, only a portion of it has been sealed, he said.

Mumbai, Apr 24: A complaint has been filed with police against Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut for allegedly referring to members of a particular community as a terrorist in a video released in support of her sister Rangoli Chandel, an official said on Friday.

The complaint was filed by a lawyer, Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh, at the suburban Amboli Police Station on Wednesday.

The Twitter account of Chandel, who is also the 33- year-old actor's manager, recently got suspended for alleged hate speech.

According to the complaint, while supporting her sister, Ranaut, in the video, allegedly referred to members of a particular community as "terrorist", the official said.

Ranaut had released the video some time back.

Following the release of the video, Deshmukh submitted an application to the Amboli police seeking registration of a case against the actor, the official said.

Mumbai, Aug 7: Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak has died allegedly by suicide in Dahisar East, her Mumbai residence on August 2.

The police have recovered a suicide note.

Initially, an accidental death case was registered which was later converted into FIR under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC against a person and a company, the police said.

Further investigation by Mumbai's Kashimira Police is underway.
