IFF ‘Healthy Life Happy Life’ campaign concluded

Dammam, June 19: A fifteen day Health Campaign ‘Healthy Life Happy Life’ organized by India Fraternity Forum concluded with Health Seminar for Ladies at Rose Restaurant Auditorium in Dammam recently.

Dr. Abida Tabassum, Gynecologist, Dar Al Siha Medical Center, presented an awareness talk about women’s health. She shed light on different health deceases related to women. This eventually followed by a question and answer session where most of the ladies who participated in a large number grabbed the opportunity by clearing their doubts.

Executive Council Member of IFF Women’s wing-Kerala Chapter and Chief Guest for the program, Tasneem Suneer gave a brief talk about how to lead a healthy life style by quoting some example and verses from the Quran.

Mrs. Sunaina Anwar Sadath presented the memento to Dr. Abida Tabassum. The program began with the recitation of Qira'th by Mrs. Sunaina Anwar Sadath. Mrs. Shireen Imthiaz welcomed the gathering and gave brief introduction to the ladies seminar, while Mrs. Zeenath Sharief presented the vote of thanks.

The event was hosted by Mrs. Sakeena Arif and refreshments were served at the end of the seminar.

IFF volunteers facilitated smooth conducting of the event with impressive assistance.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) organized Blood Donation Camp at Latifa Hospital, Oud Mehta Dubai on April 23rd, 2020 in association with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and with support from Community Development Authority (CDA) Government of Dubai.

Blood Donation Drive started in the morning at 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Around 48 people participated in this drive and donated blood to support the Dubai Blood Bank.

A potential shortage of blood for transfusions has been occurred due to a significant reduction in voluntary blood donations during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current pandemic, health services are now running with shortages of blood availability. To support the DHA Blood Bank KSCC taken initiative to ensure that blood donations continued and are safe for both the donor and the recipient.

After taking safety precaution and safe distance during the blood donation donors feeling happy and honored to participate and donate blood at this pandemic situation. Club Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi was also present during this event.

KSCC appreciated all the blood donors and be grateful to Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Community Development Authority (CDA), and Government of Dubai for their association for this event. They also thanked the volunteers and supporters.
