IFF holds ‘Seerathunnabi’ campaign in Saudi

 Jeddah, Jan 9: The India Fraternity Forum (IFF) a forum of Indian expatriates comprising members from all states of India, its Karnataka chapter is organizing ‘Seerathunnabi’ programmes across the  Saudi Arabia from Thursday  January 9 to January 31 2014. rasool

The main purpose of the series of programs is to deliver the message of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and his wisdoms to the expatriates living in Saudi Arabia, stated a press release issued by Forum.

 The programme details are as follows;

 Central Province

•           On 16th January 2014 Kick off Programme at Buraida.

•           Hail on 17th Jan.2014.

•           Al-Kharj on 23rd  January 2014

•           Closing Ceremony at Riyadh on 31st January 2014. 

Eastern Province

•           Kick off Programme  at  Hafar Al-Batin  on 09th  January, 2014.

•           Dammam on 16th January, 2014

•           Khobar & Al Hasa on 17th  January 2014.

•           Closing Ceremony at Jubail Industrial City  on 24th 2014.

 Western Province

•           Kick off program at Tabooq on 10th Janurary, 2014

•           Jeddah on 17th January,2014

•           On 24th  January in Madeena & Taif.

•           The closing Ceremony at Yanbu Industrial city on 30th January, 2014.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Manama: Kannada Sangha Bahrain President Mr. Pradeep Shetty and Vice President of Bahrain's prestigious KHK HEROES Foundation Mohammed Mansoor on Monday, May 11, met The Second Secretary (Consular & CW) of the Embassy of India, Bahrain Mr. P. K. Chowdhury in the Indian Embassy. 

The situation, problems and relief of Indians and Kannadigas residing in Bahrain during the COVID 19 Pandemic was discussed in detail. The distribution of food (dry ration) kits, as well as those seeking repatriation, was also discussed in the meeting.

When asked about the repatriation of distressed Kannadigas, the Second Secretary said that though the number of Kannadigas who wish to return home is not much compared to the rest of the states, still Embassy is compiling all the information and will do the needful soon. 

Mr. Shetty and Mr. Mansoor told the Second Secretary that those who are in problem can contact them and they are ready to do their best.

Dubai, May 20: Dubai-based Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club’s humanitarian services in charge Naseer Karaje team have appreciated the efforts of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru Airport director, NGOs of Mangaluru, and MLA for extending a royal welcome to second batch of repatriates from Dubai that landed at Mangaluru Airport on May 18.

There was so much of confusions when 1st batch of repatriation flight landed in Mangaluru airport on 12th May due to lack of proper arrangements and co ordination.

This time due to proper arrangements and special supervision by the DC everything was driven smoothly. It has given a confidence to all the Manglurean expats of Dubai in returning to their native places, the KSCC said.
