Indian club Bahrain hosts All India Kabaddi tourney-2019

Bahrain: When there is Kabaddi there is always action, but this was much more than just action. Emotions, nerves, excitement, enthusiasm and action filled Kabaddi game was held when Indian club presented the All Indian Kabaddi Tournament in Bahrain.

Many teams registered for the tournament and there was Bahrain Bearys A team who got walk over in the first round and defeated Team Tamil Nadu by 35-10 points in Quarter final.

Semi final was an easy win for Bahrain Bearys A team and defeated Tulu Nadu team by 36-18 points.

For Bahrain Beary B team the first match was against the Indian club which was walk in the park for Bahrain Bearys B.

Quater finals was a tight contest but again Bahrain Bearys B showed their ability to come on top and showed their ability to handle the pressure.

Semi finals were tight contest and United Puttur came on top for the ultimate face off against Bahrain Bearys B team.

The final was an adrenaline game where the spectators enjoyed the neck to neck contest. The final was full of emotions and action packed. Eventually after the tight fought battle Bahrain Bearys crossed the line and lifted the prestigious trophy.

Final match was neck to neck competition between Bahrain Bearys vs United Puttur. Final Match was stopped 3 times due to technical and other errors and at the end Organizers decided Bahrain Bearys as winners.

But then it was big hearted Bahrain Bearys team decided honor Puttur Team as winner because they left ground between the thrilling match.

Team Bahrain Bearys were praised wholeheartedly from spectators and organizers for their true sportsman spirit.

Jals-e-Uchila get-together held in Dammam

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

‘Nama Tuluveru’ Purushotham Salian passes away in UAE

Dubai, Aug 7: ‘Nama Tuluve’ Purushotham Salian, a staunch stalwart who always supported humanity and a strong pillar for Tuluvas in Dubai, passed away August, 4 at Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain. He was suffering from cancer and was admitted to Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain some time ago. He was on the last stage of illness which was not detected earlier.

His funeral last rites were conducted on Thursday August 7 at Jebel Ali cemetery in Hindu rites with a few of his family members present. Due to Covid pandemic, neither his body was able to be flown back to hometown nor could his two children come down to attend the funeral. However, it was said that his wish was to be cremated here in Dubai which unknowingly sometime back he whispered to one of his friends.

Purushotham had few years ago, survived a heart attack and fought back his life, though it had a minor paralytic effect on him. Even though, till recently he used to do his day-to-day work normally. He was a hard working personality and owned a readymade garment shop in Ajman and Dubai mostly taking care of clients with requirement of uniforms and coveralls. His dedication towards work was always appreciated by his clients who used to get their things delivered on time always.

He was never a publicity person and was helping the poor and needy in whatever ways he could silently. He strongly supported the community and was associated with Nama Tuluveru and Billawa community with commitment. He used to voluntarily come forward for the ground work of various functions of the community and used to be there until it was done perfectly.

Al Khobar: Indian Social Forum distributes food kits for expat labors

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
